Hot Springs Hotels in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan

Overall, it's pretty good. The location is excellent with many shops and restaurants nearby, plus a convenience store right downstairs. The front desk offers free facial masks. The rooftop onsen uses natural hot spring water. My only complaint is that the room is a bit small.

Cosy Ryokan walkable to Iya Valley Vine bridge although it may be steep at the entry/exit slope for elderly n those with mobility issues. The stay was comfortable and relaxing. Public bath was a little small but nonetheless enjoyable. Food wasn't luxurious but showcased their local seasonal eats. If you are driving and only staying overnight , I would suggest packing an overnighter and leaving the big suitcase in the boot as the poor staff will have to lug them up steep staircases to bring to your room. There is free coffee and also a vending machine next to lobby area. There is a small courtyard to chill after dinner and look at the stars after dark. The Futon can be a little thicker as those not used to sleeping on tatami may wake with a stiffer back. It's not a deal breaker though, will still recc the Ryokan if you are planning on staying in the area and enjoying the famous Japanese hospitality.

Very natural vibe around the hotel and 3 min driving to the vine bridge. Dinner is amazing and a beautiful outdoor public onsen, which is located on the top of the small hill and you can even take a cable car to get there! Great view and great food, the owner really showed so much care and does her business well. Mountain view from the room and the light on the street is just beautiful. Highly recommended!

The environment is comfortable. You have to take a sightseeing bus to get to the outdoor hot spring. The hot spring water naturally comes out of the 38.2-degree sulfur hot spring. It is slippery. There are many bees in the outdoor hot spring. They will chase people and attack. It is a bit scary. The dinner and breakfast are rich. There are parking spaces nearby. In mountainous areas, it is better to buy all the food and drinks before entering the hotel. The hotel door is closed in the early morning.

Hotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended.

My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended.

Although the hotel is some distance from the city center, the scenery along the way and the facilities in the hotel are enough to eliminate this small shortcoming. The hot springs are very good and comfortable. The meals in the hotel can also be seen by the industry. It is very carefully prepared. It is a restaurant worth visiting.

About 18 mins walk from Anan JR Station. Decent hotel, room is compact. Comes with a public onsen at 2 level and is great to relax there. Breakfast is delicious and the happy hour from 3pm - 9 pm comes with free liquor and self made cocktail.

The hotel is located at the seaside hotel on National Road 55. The environment is beautiful, the hotel facilities are very good, the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are very beautiful, the room is Japanese, the place is comfortable, the waiter is friendly, and there is a large bath, you can soak in the bath to eliminate the fatigue of the day. If it is passing by here, it is worth staying at this hotel. Then continue the journey.
