This hotel is located on a hillside, offering views of Sakurajima volcano and a partial sea view. (I stayed for 4 nights, but they gave me a room on the lowest 6th floor. I had hoped to pay more for a better view, but from the 6th floor, you can barely see the sea. I noticed that higher floors with the same room type were occupied by locals, which is something I've encountered at other Japanese hotels as well. I usually stay at one hotel for a minimum of three to four days, sometimes even a week, but it seems I never receive any 'special treatment'. I hope Trip.com can address this.) The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, which is rare for hotels of this caliber post-pandemic, and the ingredients are fresh. You don't even need to leave the hotel for anything โ there's a convenience store, hot springs, massage services, a flower shop, restaurants, and a free shuttle bus to and from Kagoshima city center. Even taking a taxi to the aquarium or Sengan-en costs less than 2000 yen. Overall, it's a very comfortable, convenient, and versatile place to relax. I would choose this hotel again on my next trip to Kagoshima, even though the floor issue made me a bit unhappy ๐ (All photos are scenes from inside the hotel).
Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right. The hotel's on-site hot springs are also very comfortable, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning!
It's a resort facility.
It's located in a part of Kagoshima prefecture that's practically the middle of nowhere.
So it's a bit out of place, with no tourist attractions to speak of.
The facilities themselves are clean.
I used this hotel for a short trip with my husband after work (we wanted to go to Kirishima Shrine)!
First, we were given a welcome drink of sweet potato shochu and tea, typical of Kagoshima, and everyone was having a good time. I also had some tea, and the staff were very polite and I felt that they were proud of the hotel. ^_^
First, we went to the family bath, and it was a very relaxing space where we could relax.
There was a coffee meal set, and I had never made my own coffee, but I was able to spend a relaxing time enjoying delicious coffee! The wonderful tools make it a picture. โช
The large public bath was also okay. I went there thinking it would be just normal and clean, but it was very Japanese and stylish, and had a different atmosphere from the hotel's front desk and rooms, and it was very nice! There were several types of amenities to choose from, such as shampoo, and I thought, wow! I wanted to try this! I was happy.
My husband is tall. I wrote that in the comments section, and they prepared loungewear in a larger size for us, and we had a much more enjoyable time than we expected!
My husband doesn't go to hot springs very often, but
it was so good that I forced him to go, and he was so happy too! (*ร*)โก
I'm really glad we were able to make some good memoriesโช
The room is quite big, the food is also good, there is a Chinese lady at the front desk who patiently explains things in detail, there is a large sand bath nearby, and there is a light party on the beach at night, the hotel's hot spring pool is quite comfortable to soak in, the only shortcoming is that the Internet is really a bit bad, I hope the hotel can complete the repair as soon as possible and improve the Internet.
This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. Choose a traditional-style room with a sea view, and your stay will be unforgettable.
The landlady can speak fluent English. The hot spring facilities are better than other hotels.
There is no convenience store nearby. It is more convenient to buy the necessary items first and then enter.
Although the location is remote, it is more peaceful and the environment is beautiful

Our stay at Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and easily accessible by car. The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark โ a truly phenomenal experience.
The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience.
This hotel is excellent, perfect in terms of both service and room facilities. The front desk upgraded our room for free, which I really appreciate! We stayed at two different hotels in Kirishima, and the staff here were much better than those at Kirishima Kokusai Hotel, and the food was also significantly better. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing
TTaobiPerfect! The scenery is excellent, the service is also very good, always smile and answer every question patiently! The restaurant has a three-meal sharing, more than 200 breakfast, more than 400 dinner, all buffet, exquisite and delicious, but the variety is too small, especially the price of dinner will feel that the price is too low, I stayed for three nights and enjoyed one breakfast and two dinners. There is a big supermarket not far from the hotel, which can definitely meet the morning, lunch and evening three meals. Traffic on the island is not very convenient, most of the time will be wasted on traffic
GGuest UserThe hotel's breakfast was excellent, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, the lobby was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Taking a walk along the river next to the hotel was very pleasant, and the view of the volcano from the riverside was spectacular.
