I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 AM due to travel, thinking it might be a hassle to check in so early. To my surprise, the landlady at the front desk was incredibly kind! She mentioned my booked room wasn't ready yet and upgraded me to an available deluxe room. The room was genuinely spacious. The best part? Soaking in the private hot spring in the courtyard right outside my room at 4:00 PM, I turned beet red from the heat – it was absolutely blissful, hahaha! 😂 (The photo was taken from my room entrance)

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

Nice hotel in the location, however there were a few mishaps. We got the room with the private onsen, but because there is no door to seal the area with the onsen, the room got very moist and hot. I could also see mould on the top of the curtains in the onsen area from the built up moisture. Also the rooms have thin walls so you can hear others sometimes, but we had a very bad guest who was staying in the next room being very loud past midnight. The staff were very accommodating and had to visit this guest three times to ask them to be quiet, and this went on till gone 1am. The staff are very friendly and helpful at the hotel, and this improved the experience.

The check-in experience exceeded expectations, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was efficient and fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was very good, and the night was sleepy without interruption. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the supplies are complete and the quality is online. The hotel is conveniently located, the surrounding facilities are perfect, and it is very convenient to travel and eat. The overall price is super high, the details are full of care, and I will choose here next time.

During my pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain, I stumbled upon a wonderful hotel. The price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. The receptionist, Xiao Wang, was incredibly friendly and even upgraded us to a better room. We originally planned to visit the front of Jiuhua Mountain, but we mistakenly booked the back. However, it was definitely worth it because the hot spring resort was very vegetarian-friendly, with a dedicated vegetarian section offering a variety of options. For anyone planning a pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain, I highly recommend the Alkadi Hotel! And remember to look for Xiao Wang at the reception! He's a very kind and helpful person!

We arrived at the hotel just in time for the Fish Lantern Parade at 7 PM. This time, we booked two rooms as we were traveling with seniors and children. The hotel provided a shuttle service to pick us up right at the entrance and helped with our luggage. The front desk even upgraded us to a family room, which was much more spacious. The hotel is the former residence of Zhu Zhishan during his childhood, featuring a beautiful Huizhou architectural style that's perfect for photos! They also offered three complimentary travel photos. Plus, the hotel is right in the heart of the scenic area.

Running into Miner's Home B&B at the foot of Huangshan Mountain was truly a delightful surprise on this trip. The B&B exudes a unique beauty and artistic ambiance, with its all-natural wooden decor, completely free of any strange odors, offering a simple yet reassuring quality. The owner's aesthetic sense is impeccable; the soft furnishings throughout are truly the finishing touches. What impressed me most was the owner's extensive use of feather elements in the lighting and decorations, which are gentle and healing, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the space. The lighting design is also very thoughtful, with basic lighting, nightlights, reading lights, and ambient lights all perfectly placed to suit different scenarios, living up to the name 'Miner's Home B&B' – beautiful, therapeutic, and youthful. The attention to detail in the facilities is even more impressive. In winter, the heated smart toilet seat was a heartwarming touch. The showerhead provided a strong water flow with multiple settings, and the water quality was as clear as mountain spring water, perfect for washing away travel fatigue. Rooms with bathtubs were thoughtfully equipped with disposable bath liners for hygiene, showing great consideration. Even in rooms without a bathtub, the excellent shower alone was enough for a wonderfully warm bath. The owner was also a fantastic travel assistant, always providing precise and useful travel information, which saved a lot of hassle. My stay at Miner's Home was not just a place to rest, but a light healing for both body and mind. Such a thoughtful B&B is definitely worth a stay. (This is not an advertisement.)

This stay was really pleasant! The sanitation of the homestay is very good, there is no smell in the room, and the bedding is very comfortable. The water temperature of the hot spring is very suitable, and the soaking is very relieved. The boss is also very nice, sent the route guide in advance, and can reply in time if you have any questions. The surrounding environment is also very quiet, have a good time with friends, will stay here next time ~

My experience was really bad. I booked a hot spring room, but I have to say the room itself was tiny, though the hot spring area was quite large. The funniest part was that only the area with the bed had floor heating; the rest of the room apparently wasn't deemed worthy of it – super weird! The only good thing was the balcony (a 2nd-floor exclusive). The entire resort feels like it's all hype. Things are expensive, and portions are small. Crucially, there aren't many delivery options nearby, and the delivery fees are quite high, so you're pretty much forced to eat and drink within the resort. The absolute worst part is this: you can refund the copper coins you *buy*, but not the ones you *win* in the games. It's ridiculous! If that's the case, they should make it clear. There's a notice only at the manual counter where you buy them, but the staff don't mention it at all, and there are no notices anywhere else. It feels a bit like forced buying because we had over 30 copper coins we won before we left, and we had no choice but to 'waste' them. And complaining seems useless; it feels like consumer rights in Tongling aren't protected, and they just side with the businesses – probably because they've paid a lot of 'pearls' (bribes). The 'Yi Jiangnan' scenery is nice but really expensive. We took the magic carpet up and the glass slide down, and the price wasn't cheap either.

The service at this hotel has been outstanding. We were waiting for the elevator on the 1st floor, when a hotel staff came down to help us go to the 17th floor for check in. The hotel is very well kept. The housekeeping does a great job at keeping the hotel clean. I am impressed with the cleanliness. The laundry facilities have been great for keeping our clothes fresh on our travels. The breakfast had lots of options available and was very delicious. They even had a pager for when your noodles are done, so you do not have to wait around for them and can eat the other dishes. Thank you to the Bozhou Orange Hotel staff for making our stay extremely comfortable.

AAnonymous UserI was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

GGuest UserThey say B&Bs can be either amazing or terrible, and this time I truly experienced an amazing one! Service: Worried about getting a taxi, I arranged a pick-up with the hotel in advance. A taxi driver came to get me, and it was a fixed price, similar to what I'd pay if I hailed one myself. Those traveling to Huangshan by public transport might want to consider this – it's worth paying a little extra for peace of mind and not worrying about unexpected delays. All the staff I met were incredibly enthusiastic. They even offer free shuttle service to restaurants within a three-kilometer radius. Facilities: I booked a room with a private hot spring tub, on the top floor, with a private courtyard and a soaking pool – it was absolutely delightful! It's the off-peak season, so there weren't many people around, and it happened to rain during my stay. Watching the mountains in the rain, I honestly felt the money was well spent! There's a public outdoor pool, but it wasn't open yet since I visited after the Qingming Festival. Hygienics: I've stayed in B&Bs before where cleanliness was an issue, but this place was really good. At least from what I saw, there were no missed spots. We didn't hike Huangshan this time and spent a lot of time in the room. I highly recommend the private hot spring room for those who, like us, enjoy peace and quiet and value privacy! An excellent experience!

GGuest UserThe surroundings are lovely, and the air is fresh. The small pool by the entrance, though closed in winter, houses little fish and turtles, making it a great spot for kids to relax. The duplex room is very spacious and well-equipped, perfect for families of all ages. The shower and hot tub were incredibly comfortable, and there's even a laundry room on the fourth floor. But the highlight was definitely the service! On our first day, we had to get up at 5 AM to climb Huangshan, and the owner had already prepared trekking poles, raincoats, and portable breakfast for us, dropping us off at the bus stop right on time. We were lucky enough to catch a rare sunrise on the mountain that day. The breakfast on the second day was incredibly rich, with over a dozen options, and they even prepared steamed eggs especially for our baby. We casually mentioned how delicious a certain side dish was, and when we checked out, the owner gave us a big bag of it, along with some local specialties and homemade dried bamboo shoots. This stay truly gave us that unique 'home away from home' feeling that only a guesthouse can offer. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're near Huangshan. Wishing the owner great success!

BBasuijiuhuixintengrenThis was our last chance before school started to enjoy the water at Lixi Grand Canyon. We chose this guesthouse, and it exceeded our expectations. It's a renovated old house in the village, and the room's decor and materials show a high level of sophistication. The overall design is very Hui-style! The breakfast selection was decent compared to other guesthouses, and the ingredients were good. Parking was convenient. The pool was a bit shallow, but the kids had a great time! The water in Lixi is incredibly clean. The dinner at the guesthouse was quite good, though a bit pricey. We'll definitely come back to play in the water again. It's very quiet, and we'll choose this place again next time!

LldidiAbsolutely loved the hotel's design! From the moment you step into the elevator from the parking lot, it feels ancient and charming. As you walk through the corridors and enter the lobby, there's even a fireplace where you can roast mandarins and marshmallows [milk tea emoji]. The entire design blends oriental aesthetics with unique Southern Anhui features like bamboo, tiles, and stone slabs throughout. The only downside is that rooms on the ground floor can get a bit damp, and the air conditioning is a bit loud [facepalm emoji]. Design and functionality are completely fine though, with an indoor onsen, kids' area, gym, and breakfast – all good for a short stay of a few days. However, compared to a true resort hotel, it might fall a little short.

GGuest UserThe hotel location and landscape is top notch for this region. Kids friendly - the indoor playground was amazing! We enjoyed the great service from the staff, especially Ms Xiang, who was very warm hearted and helpful. Can not expect the hotel to be a real 5-star compared to the well developed tourism places, some areas of improvement: many people still smoke inside the facilities - including the public hot spring area, swimming pool, even the hotel lobby. Some of the facilities inside the room are not well maintained - be sure to check them and request for fix or change the room if needed. But for this area, I’d highly recommend this hotel for family stay and a very relaxing experience at a reasonable price.
