Swift check-in and check-out process. The property is secure as keycards are needed to enter the gate. The rooms are clean and have daily housekeeping. The walls are quite thin so noises from outside pierce through, and the aircon and shower heater in my room need a bit of fixing. Overall, this is value for money and would be my go-to accommodation every time I'm in Cebu.
I had conflicts with my hotel bookings and end-up staying at this hostel instead. I stayed at the men’s room good for 4. We were only three during the stay. One was a foreigner from London and the other one is a Pinoy from Tacloban who was in Bohol for the international fun run and who was a loud snorer. Oh life in a hostel.
But overall, the stay is still good considering the cheap price.

I was surprised to see that this is the former Hostel 7, which I have never visited before but I have heard so much about. Positive reviews, yes. I stayed here for one night. Though the structure is quite old, the cleanliness very much compensated for it. The people are amazing too! Very hospitable, fun, and accommodating. The bar is open 24/7. Just a few steps from the hostel is a restaurant (part of Casa Rosario) and a 7/11. This is located near Saint Theresa's College and is within walking distance to Mango Avenue and Fuente Osmeña Circle. It'll be interesting to stay here for more than just one night and just explore the neighborbood.

Place it's ok for a night or two if you don't mind having only toilet and drinking water other than the capsule. No kitchen. Shower is super uncomfortable if you are not really small (I'm 1,78, it was almost impossible to move in there). Aircon it's working good. The electricity socket is too loose so sometimes it doesn't actually change you the phone. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get. Location isn't bad.

The hotel location is great for 1 night stay if you have early flight, the room itself is smaller but can accommodate 3 person the only problem is it has a share bathroom and no hot water for a shower not ideal if you have very early flight and need shower unless you can handle a cold shower and in common bath, In my case I have to upgrade to private room that cost me additional 650 pesos in addition to my payment of 941 pesos but it has a hot shower and private bathroom, although I can get at the sane amount in a better and more comfortable hotel in the area. The staff us very helpful and accommodating they provide a microwave and kittle to make a hot water but you have to buy your own water. All in all it was ok.
This hostel is very interesting. It's like it's part of some good hotel, the staff is very smart, the frequency is perfect. the accessories that are being given out are the accessories of some three-star hotel.
And everything you need is located around. There is a tour desk, shops, massage parlors, and a restaurant. The building doesn't look presentable from the outside, but it's like a pearl in a shell. I advise you to visit this hostel.

There are always staff members wearing orange T-shirts on duty, so you can feel safe. The air conditioning was on properly, so I was able to stay comfortable. Thank you very much.
The area is beautiful, the room is a normal size, the bed is comfortable, but there is no safe or hair dryer in the room, two towels - none for the face. We tried the food only for breakfast - disgusting - a fried egg in the day before yesterday's butter, two pieces of tasteless bacon, toast with butter and jam, 4 pieces of watermelon for 300 pesos, no laundry. The girl at the reception is very nice.

Perfect for solo travelers and layovers! This affordable dorm-style hostel is conveniently located along a main road in Lapu-Lapu City, just minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
Rooms are clean and come with towels, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. Shared shower and toilet areas are well-maintained. Reception is warm and welcoming, making check-in easy even at odd hours.
There’s a spa and café on-site—great for relaxing—and plenty of nearby restaurants for food options. Ideal for a quick nap or overnight stay without spending much.
Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers!

Good
DDima888The staff weren't overly friendly, but I don't have any major complaints. They put me in a room next to the staff area on the lower floor, so there was often people walking by and doors slamming. Otherwise, the room was quiet, and I barely heard any road noise.
AAnonymous UserStayed at Aosmec Square Hotel recently and was pleased with the simple, reliable accommodation. Rooms were clean, AC worked great, and staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location close to local spots too. Not luxury, but excellent value for money – perfect for a straightforward trip!
AAnonymous UserThe staff are very accomodating. The free breakfast make us feel full during the morning activities. The location is near the community center that makes it easy for us to roam around the area. We had a great time during our stay especially the kids.
DDavidekoalaThe rooms are very nice and simple overall, and the cleanliness is good. But unfortunately, I have to focus on other aspects that could ruin or significantly impact your stay. The rooms are both front and back, and here, the ones at the front are the ones shown more often, as they enjoy the best location, cleanliness, and quiet. Unfortunately, we ended up in the back for the two nights we stayed, and we were right in front of the kitchen. Groups of people staying there made a racket from 1 a.m. until the morning, or at least until 4:30 a.m., and by 6:30 a.m., people were already cooking and making breakfast. It's not a place to rest or be respectful, so I would avoid it. Furthermore, the shared bathrooms lack shelves or countertops, and in addition to being very dirty, due to guests with poor hygiene standards, we didn't know how to move around or where to put the toiletries. Toilet paper was always wet because it was next to the shower. The place would be nice, but besides being on a remote street, it didn't allow us to rest due to these situations. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there's no point in making so many rules if they aren't followed.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel! The rooms are cozy, and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the grounds are well-maintained too. The location isn't the most convenient if you're on foot, but the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot. They also offer scooters at a very good price – cheaper than renting them 'on the street'. When we arrived, all the scooters were taken, but the girls at the reception suggested a company they work with, and everything was delivered right to the hotel for us. When a hotel scooter became available, we took that. They also helped us with tours. We initially booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another 3. By the way, the transfer from the hotel is also more cost-effective than arranging it yourself.
The hotel owners, Nick and Raquel, are very kind and open-hearted; it was a real pleasure and very interesting to chat with them. Abigail and the other girls are also positive and always ready to help. At this hotel, you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Thank you! We would be very happy to stay with you again!)
GGuest UserThe location was good.. Near to IT Park and Ayala Mall. 7/11 is at the ground floor. Many restaurants and cafés nearby you won't get hungry. Room size is actually big and spacious for 1 person And clean . The food was good though it was limited to 3 dishes. However,
1. I stayed for 2nights and nobody cleaned up my room even though I put the sign outside the door. There was a cleaner I met at the ground floor though.
2. The bathroom hot shower is not functioning so i have to deal with the cold water in the cold room
3. The water is stocked on the floor after bath and it won't completely subside even the next days.
4. The blanket is too thin . I recommend to bring your own blanket next time
5. The aircon looks old and dirty and it was soooo noisy.
6. My room is near the elevator and 100% you'll hear the indian students/residents shouting and playing before and after riding the elevator.
7. The wifi is toooo slow and the room has limited mobile signal too. Good thing I still managed to finish my online class even though the signal was on and off.
Anyways, it was a good experience to stay in a budget hotel.
BBiboi CPBeen staying on this place countless times. The property is accessible to almost everything from uptown to downtown. It is sad that the cable is not working again
TTSFIt is located on the road going up the mountain from the center of Cebu City. The area is developing and there are high-rise apartment buildings, but there are also many very peaceful houses (if you head towards the valley from the guesthouse site, you will see many dugout huts, and although it is not a slum, you will enter an area where people with low incomes live). There is a restaurant nearby, and the food is delicious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor (shared with the staff, so it smells good at mealtimes). The beds are perfect, there is air conditioning, and the shower has good water pressure, so I think it is the best choice for backpackers. The photo shows the road going down to the valley area mentioned above in the neighborhood. It was a Sunday when I stayed there, so I could see the residents singing karaoke.
Aainsya A.I needed a hotel for 10 hours transit between 2 international flights. The sakura capsule hotel is located in terminal 1 (domestic) of Cebu airport, around 3-5 mins walk from the international arrival. The walkway is actually an outdoor parking space between the two terminals and I felt safe walking even though it was 2 in the morning. Check in process was smooth, the staff are friendly and accommodating, there is locker to keep your shoes and luggage, their mattress was super comfortable, enough sockets / usb slots to recharge your devices, shower and toilet are clean with towel , slippers and tooth brush provided. There are also shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner. I rested well all the way till the time to check in for my flight around 11 am (the staff also asked if I need a wake up call which I did not need but still, cool!). There is also little area for coffee and tea to refresh your morning. I would come back here without hesitation. Thank you!
