Another fabulous stay at this wonderful little hostel. Great location, with some really amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurants within a few minutes walk.
The place is super clean, and the pods are so comfortable with fresh sheets, comfy mattress and soft pillow. Hot water for showers, towels, lock for pod door, all provided by the incredibly helpful staff. Can’t sing their praises any more, absolutely wonderful.

The hotel is near the main road. The way to the mall to buy groceries is pretty long but there are many small businesses selling groceries nearby. The breakfast served in the morning but in the very early hours.

Good service and the help desk is very helpful. Hostel is very near to the tourist spot such Fort San Pedro, National Museum of Philippines, Yap San Diego Ancesthral House, Heritage of Cebu and so on. Very stratergic location for travellers.

My recent stay was overall a positive experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a good view of the city. The location near Dumaluan Beach is like a 10-minute walk while it's quite far from alona Beach. It's more on a quiet side compared to other hostels. The room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfy. It's has great facilities like billiards and pool. The food was also great with big portions, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is recommended and value hor money.

Perfect for solo travelers and layovers! This affordable dorm-style hostel is conveniently located along a main road in Lapu-Lapu City, just minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
Rooms are clean and come with towels, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. Shared shower and toilet areas are well-maintained. Reception is warm and welcoming, making check-in easy even at odd hours.

Aside from the airconditioning system not being enough for the double rooms, it was amazing. Everything was clean and up to standard. Loved our stay and definitely recommending it to everyone.

The facilities are good , we sleep well in a room 😊 The kuya in a hotel is very good communications , i will recommend this on our friends.. And our is located at rooftop so we see a lot of city lights and bridge .

GGuest UserThe place is good for its price. Slightly noisy. Can't sleep well. Not so generous and hospitable over the counter people. But ladies in white shirts (I think they are OJTs) are hospitable. Food was not satisfying (tinolang bangus). Overall, a good 1night stay.

NNikolayIt was good. It was a little bit far from Panagasama beach - around 20 min on foot, but it was quiet and calm here, no music, no karaoke. So we could sleep well there. We could rent scooter right in hotel for 350 peso per 24 hours, and came back it got deposit without any problem. At reception you can get free instant tea and coffee, refill your bottle with cold water. There was good wifi there, so I didn't buy local SIM card and I could work online in room. If I come back to Maolboal I defenetly will stay in this hotel.

AAnonymous UserI had a really pleasant stay at The Pad Co-Living Cebu and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu City. The location is one of its biggest highlights — very accessible and close to IT Park, malls, cafes, and restaurants, which made getting around super convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and I appreciated how organized and minimalist the space felt. The air-conditioning worked well, and the overall cleanliness of both the room and common areas was impressive.

TTSFIt is located on the road going up the mountain from the center of Cebu City. The area is developing and there are high-rise apartment buildings, but there are also many very peaceful houses (if you head towards the valley from the guesthouse site, you will see many dugout huts, and although it is not a slum, you will enter an area where people with low incomes live). There is a restaurant nearby, and the food is delicious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor (shared with the staff, so it smells good at mealtimes). The beds are perfect, there is air conditioning, and the shower has good water pressure, so I think it is the best choice for backpackers. The photo shows the road going down to the valley area mentioned above in the neighborhood. It was a Sunday when I stayed there, so I could see the residents singing karaoke.

Aainsya A.I needed a hotel for 10 hours transit between 2 international flights. The sakura capsule hotel is located in terminal 1 (domestic) of Cebu airport, around 3-5 mins walk from the international arrival. The walkway is actually an outdoor parking space between the two terminals and I felt safe walking even though it was 2 in the morning. Check in process was smooth, the staff are friendly and accommodating, there is locker to keep your shoes and luggage, their mattress was super comfortable, enough sockets / usb slots to recharge your devices, shower and toilet are clean with towel , slippers and tooth brush provided. There are also shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner. I rested well all the way till the time to check in for my flight around 11 am (the staff also asked if I need a wake up call which I did not need but still, cool!). There is also little area for coffee and tea to refresh your morning. I would come back here without hesitation. Thank you!

ZZe-BWay Shack Hostel is in a fantastic location for visiting the whale sharks. If you speak to Ken at the hostel, he can help arrange the whale shark excursion, it cost me 500 pesos and was super easy to organize.
That said, I’d recommend only a one-night stay here. We were disturbed both nights by heavy goods vehicles passing by the hostel late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, aside from the whale shark activity, there’s not much else around the hostel to keep yourself entertained.
A scooter is essential to travel to the local town for food or supplies. The hostel staff can help arrange a rental if you need one.
On the plus side, the room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, which made it comfortable for a short stay.
Overall, Way Shack Hostel is a practical and budget-friendly option for a quick stopover if you’re visiting the whale sharks, but it’s not ideal for a longer stay.

GGuest UserThis hostel is very interesting. It's like it's part of some good hotel, the staff is very smart, the frequency is perfect. the accessories that are being given out are the accessories of some three-star hotel.
And everything you need is located around. There is a tour desk, shops, massage parlors, and a restaurant. The building doesn't look presentable from the outside, but it's like a pearl in a shell. I advise you to visit this hostel.

OOliver RequilmanThe location is very convenient since it is along Jones Ave or now Osmena Avenue. However, while it is clean inside, there's a lot of Dog Poops outside the Pension. And you will have to dart these large flies as you walk from the entrance to the main road. There's a lot of hanging clotheslines across the pension house.
While they have free breakfast, it is so poorly served. Dont expect quality. And you cannot even advance your breakfast, you have to follow their schedule.
On a serious note, the free breakfast is not worth considering if you plan to stay in this place. The only advantage they have is that this is near the main road.
