Hostels in Sardinia, Italy

Poor communication and organization between the employees and commitment to the guests. I would arrive 1h, maximum 2h after the check-in was closed, and I called one day before to communicate it and asked if it would be a problem that I could cancel it. They said that it would not be a problem and that an employee would call me the next day. The next day nobody called, and when I landed at the airport, I called the hotel again to say that the flight was delayed and I would still take the car to travel to the city, and again I heard that it would be ok. In the end, the employee didn't wait for me, and the gates of the hotel were closed. The person simply left without waiting for me, didn't call, and didn't leave the key or any instructions. I was just locked out without any chance to enter and sleep in the hotel.

Very clean hostel with modern facilities. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We were able to leave our luggage and explore the city while waiting for check-in, and similarly, when we checked out, they allowed us to leave our luggage so we could go for a walk and then return for it later. 10/10
