AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the city centre. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance, and the surroundings are beautiful and feel safe to walk around. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel with a direct connection to the airport, and Tivoli Gardens is extremely close by.
The hotel is always busy and lively. I was a little concerned about safety because I had to catch a bus to the airport at 3 a.m., but the bus stop was very close, and there were always people around the hotel area. The staff are also available 24/7.
You will be lucky if you get clean, quiet, and considerate roommates. The bathroom is quite small, and I think the lower bunk located right next to the bathroom is probably the most inconvenient bed, as you have to deal with quite a lot of noise. The lockers in the rooms are not large enough to fit a cabin-sized suitcase and can only accommodate a small backpack. You also need to bring your own padlock, and I would recommend bringing slippers as well. The bed itself looked clean, but the storage compartments and the gaps around the bed were quite dirty. However, considering how large and busy the hotel is, I can understand that it may be difficult to keep every area perfectly clean at all times.

SsmiytiWe had a good stay at Downtown hostel, the location was perfect and close to everything, the breakfast was good for the price, but i wish the check-in process was easier, for us and also the receptionists who were very helpful still but we kept having issues with our cabine room door, the digital code worked once in a while :(. The rooms are poorly soundproofed which was quite disturbing…also we forgot a console in our cabin room the day of our check out and contacted the hostel by email but never got an answer back…

GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, requiring about a 20-minute bus ride to the city center.
As for the accommodation, it was my first time staying in a 'camping-style' hostel. Essentially, they make maximum use of a large room, using tents to create smaller, individual spaces. This is supposed to differentiate it from a dormitory with dozens of beds in one big room. However, the actual experience isn't fundamentally different from a hostel with 30-40 beds in a single room. The tents offer no soundproofing, and the beds inside each tent are practically touching.
On the positive side, the washroom facilities are quite good. It's clear they are regularly cleaned, and there are plenty of them.

GGuest UserReally clean hostel, located super close to the center I could literally walk anywhere from there. The staff is also lovely, would definitely book again if I come back to copenhagen. The bathrooms and showers being inside the rooms was a bit odd but other than that you definitely get your money’s worth staying here.

IinstkhlmThe hostel is lively and composed of multiple room types of your choices. It has a bar and shared kitchen area, where you can do groceries in the nearby supermarket and cook since dine-out expenses are quite high in copenhagen! The place was lively and had lots of guests - if you love networking and meeting new people, I’d recommend this hostel! The place is located in norrebro, close to metro stations (15 minutes walk) and surrounded by lots of cute cafes and restaurants! (I didn’t take photos of the hostel, so I included photos of nearby areas and restaurant instead!)

AAnonymous UserThis hostel's beds are super clean. The pillows and duvet covers are already on, so you just need to put on the bed sheet yourself. The 10-person dorm has two showers and one toilet, and the space isn't cramped at all. It's really great!

NnkxxgThe hostel only provide mix dorm, there are 7 beds in the room but only 6 lockers there. Hair dryer is provided only on request and you have to pay 20dkk for it.

GGuest UserFantastic location, easy to reach from the highway as well as with public transport. Good sized room with comfy bed and good and clean facilities. The burgers and milkshakes are amazing and the 50's US style adds a lot of character.
