New hostel, opened only in July so everything was super new and clean. Ladies bathroom had 7 toilets (not the squat type, the seat types!), 5 showers, 6 sinks and a small makeup area. Given the hostel is kinda huge, I was surprised I never had to wait which is so good! The bunk beds are really spacious, nice mattress, hook/rail to put clothes, a small shelf and has power outlets with USB and type c plugs catered for all of us that is hooked with digital gadgets! Has fast wifi throughout the hostel and has a nice lounge area (with a bar and music stage) plus two smaller rooms good for a more quieter or work area. Also has laundry room with washers and dryers. Hostel is also close to bus station (which can get you everywhere in Xiamen) and had many eateries downstairs. The famous Zhongshan Road is walkable too, takes around 20 mins. So basically this is a dream place for backpackers or tourists looking for a cheap, lively place to stay whilst in Xiamen. What also stands out are the staff. The cleaning aunties were super friendly. And all the young energetic staffers in reception and bar are willing to help at anything you asked no matter how bad our language barriers were! Like to especially thank Xiao Wang who checked me in, extended my stay and also fixed my fingerprint locker. Damn want to thank all the staff in this place, really made a difference during my stay :-) Note: they also give you a free bottle of water everyday which is a nice touch!

This place is located right above a food court. The best way to reach was to use the elevator. This place is in a nice spot in Xiamen for you to reach most of the sights. I didn't really interact with the staff as they didn't know too much English and did not seem to want to talk much. The bunk beds were okay. There are lockers in the room, but the locks don't work. The tiolets are separated from the shower room as they appear to be public toilets for everyone on the fourth floor. The shower was nice as it had good water pressure. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Hands down my favorite hostel in the whole of China. Very energetic and nice staff that speak good English. They gave me a pdf guide to the city and even offered to join them for dinner after I came back in the evening. There's a pool table, table football and boardgames if you want to play, and they even have a screen set up for movie nights if you desire. They have a very cute cat and a dog that likes to cuddle. The rooms are good and clean, no complaints there whatsoever. Due to my visa running out I only got to stay one night, but I'm sure I will return in the future. Do fully recommend.

Close to the train station. Take the open-air bright yellow staircase behind the bus stop next to the Radio and Television Building and go up to the second floor. Metro Line 3 and BRT will wait for Line 3 next year to see if it will connect to Putuo Temple of Xiamen University. The transportation will be more convenient. The facilities in the room are complete and tidy In fact, Xiamen Island is quite small. I have tried walking back here twice at night from Yundang Lake Yuxiu. If you stay here to go to Gulangyu Island and Nanputuo and take the BRT, it is okay. Otherwise, just take one stop of the subway to Hubin Road and transfer to Line 1. You can cook. There is Jia Wu Ji next to Wucun Baihui Supermarket. It is very affordable to buy seafood, crabs, black tiger shrimps, etc. I have been in Xiamen for so long, but it is very convenient to cook here. But I don’t have the chance to go back after only a few days. Opposite is a Home Inn

SOHA Bingge Youth Hostel in a downtown area, no matter from the service and environment, you will definitely enjoy the cheapest but best quality! I believe I will go to see the Bingge boss again in May. It is said that the marathon has won the first place, and the reward is 12 thousand.

The youth hostel is newly opened, and the owner is a soft-spoken lady who makes people feel refreshed! The transportation location is excellent. It is 500 meters away from Dadao Metro Station. Take bus No. 66 and get off at Zhongting Street Station, which is 300 meters away. The mattress on the bed is relatively comfortable, the color and style of the three-piece bedding set are lovely, and disposable toothpaste and toothbrushes are provided. Overall, I am satisfied!

I am really satisfied with my stay at Haishang Holiday Hotel this time! The staff is warm and friendly, the check-in is efficient, help introduce fun attractions, and recommend local food. The room is clean and comfortable, and the layout is warm. This hotel is very close to Nanmen Bay and it takes 10 minutes to walk. In the morning, you can go to the beach to watch the sunrise. 突然想去島上住一晚 就定了這個地中海風格的酒店 我們是從輪渡碼頭坐到鋼琴碼頭，跟着導航走了十五分鐘，也是挺方便，穿過龍頭路筆山洞就到了 房間不大，但是整潔， 露台特別棒，晚上坐着喝茶吃水果特別愜意 老闆服務非常好，幫忙買水果，還提供了冰塊，點贊，小朋友腳受傷了，還幫忙去買了創口貼。要去沙灘還能帶我們去，這個服務真是太好了
