Homestays in Mimaropa, Philippines

The most memorable travel moments aren't always the prettiest. Sometimes it's the difficult times when someone steps in to help. We had an issue with our booking, but the front desk handled everything with great kindness. Resolving it right upon arrival was enough to get us off to a good start. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, and we were already looking forward to the next day. Breakfast was generous. We chose croissants and overnight oats with a sea view, and that made everything even better. The hotel recommended an island hopping tour. We waited for the guide directly in the lobby, which was very convenient. The beach was just a few minutes' walk to board the boat, and being able to go straight back to our room to change was a huge plus. In the evening, the front desk suggested a few restaurants. We went to one of them and really enjoyed it. We had less and less desire to leave. See you next time!

Ideal for solo travelers and couples without babies. The place is squeaky clean but there is a shared shotlet bathroom. Still very clean. It’s located next to a busy road so I couldn’t sleep all night with the tricycles passing by and there was also a baby from one of the guests that was crying but not too much. If you like sleep and you’re a light sleeper don’t go there. The location is not great cos of this.

The Hotel is beautifully located. Just like in the pictures it’s right in front of the ocean and counts with a lot of cool amenities such as books to lend, massage as well as a restaurant. The garden is kept excellent and has hammocks on which you can relax/watch the sunset. The same are that offers the books to buy/lend counts with different board games. The hotel rooms are very clean and equipped with both AC and fan. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful I(I lost my Flipflops and one of the staff members lend me hers). Additionally, they offer/help to book tuktuks, boat tours, etc….

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days from January 19-22, 2026. We really enjoyed everything; it's very cozy and beautiful on the hotel grounds. The owner is nice. Breakfasts were a bit sparse, and our room had very little space in the shower. Otherwise, everything was great, and the location is good and quiet. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Very nice little place, only stayed here one night. There isn’t much around the area and also had some difficulties finding the location as the address on Trip is incorrect. But the staff is very welcoming and helpful and good for value.

It was clean two star hotel if you stay there do not accept one of the units that are on the road. The bedroom windows are right on the main road going up the hill. The traffic noise is horrible 24 hours a day.

staffs are accommodating and friendly owner is friendly and very responsive  very cozy and clean amenities are complete  bathroom can be improved but very aesthetic and clean close to maintown surely will book again

Очень красивый дом, приветливый хозяин, встретили в аэропорту, организовали нам экскурсию и трансфер в Эль Нидо. Вкусные завтраки с фруктами. Было максимально комфортно остановиться тут на пару ночей, спасибо!

We stayed four nights at Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive and overall had a wonderful experience. The location is truly special – stunning views, beautifully designed villas, a very well-kept property, and breathtaking sunsets by the pool or from the terrace. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a luxurious getaway. Be aware that getting there can be a bit tricky. Buses from Manila to Batangas City run regularly, but the last ferry departs at 4 PM. Make sure to plan your trip accordingly – we ran into some issues because of this. The food is more expensive than local options, but very clean and easily adaptable to vegetarian needs. While the vegetarian menu is limited, the manager was very accommodating and open to adjustments, which we truly appreciated. There are plenty of activities: a paid boat transfer to Secret Bay, trips to Sabang, diving, massages, and more. Just keep in mind to clarify whether you book activities through the hotel or third-party providers, as prices can vary and surcharges are common. Some small downsides: our room was only cleaned on two of the four days, which didn’t meet the highest hygiene standards, and the beach could be a little cleaner. Still, we had a very enjoyable stay. The combination of friendly staff, beautiful setting, and unique location makes this hotel highly recommendable.
