Guest UserSince I was traveling with elderly family members and was concerned about them getting cold at night, I decided against booking a ground-level yurt and instead chose this 'Starry Sky Pasture' accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. First, parking was incredibly convenient, which is crucial for a group of five traveling in a 7-seater minivan. Then, we were greeted by charming Mongolian-style buildings, topped with yurts perfect for stargazing. The rooms were fantastic, and the owner was incredibly kind – he even upgraded our room because we were with seniors. The room was spotless, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and disposable toiletries were provided. The 'starry sky yurt' had air conditioning, so it wasn't cold at all. We could even watch the sunrise and sunset from the third floor, which I thought was great value! The restaurant food was absolutely delicious. We ordered roasted lamb ribs, mushroom with sliced meat, cold beef slices... and even some kumis. Wow, both the taste and price exceeded my expectations – so tasty! Especially the beef and lamb ribs, they were incredibly fragrant and highly recommended! The owner even gave us a small gift when we left, which was a very thoughtful touch. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends because I feel I made the perfect choice! It's very unique, clean, and tidy, in a great location with easy parking, and delicious food! The main thing is, the owner is wonderful!

The hotel is located in the grassland. After comparing several hotels, we finally decided to stay at Lezhiye. The two families lived together in a 140-square-meter suite. There were many free snacks and drinks in the room, as well as sweet soup after dinner. I ordered five or six dishes for dinner, including meat and vegetables. Four adults and three children ate for nearly 700 yuan. The grilled lamb chops were very delicious! Very tender, fresh and delicious! Later, I ate at another mutton chop shop in the city and it was inedible! You can also play around the B&B. The grassland is surrounded by wires, so you can wander around and play around.

Guest UserThe B&B's environment perfectly matches the photos online. If the weather is good, it's a fantastic spot for pictures – we even caught a breathtaking sunset during our visit! The lobby is stylishly decorated with a strong Mongolian cultural flair. They have a restaurant on-site, so all your dining needs are covered. With coffee, drinks, and hot springs, the facilities are truly comprehensive. The staff, both male and female, are very friendly and provide great service. It's truly one of the best B&Bs in the area.

Elisa.sI chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay.
Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories.
The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.
I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay.
If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time.
I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience.
I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed.
After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend.
In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me.
I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness.
Thank you brother. I look forward to returning in the near future with my partner, and when my mandarin is better.

I traveled alone with my 3 year old daughter and we had a fantastic stay! The owner was very kind to upgrade us to the largest king size bed room which was very spacious for my kid to run around. Unfortunately she didn’t realize we booked 2 nights and made us move the second night but still gave us an upgraded room! She made up for it by helping me move and watch my child while I settled into the second room. She and the restaurant chef were so kind with allowing us to eat a late breakfast because my child was too tired and could not wake up in time before breakfast ended. The chef made us a delicious fried rice with some tomato/eggs and hot Mongolian milk te which was the best meal we’ve had in Inner Mongolia because we are tired of eating lamb. Everyone treated us so well and loved my outgoing daughter. We sang karaoke at night and my daughter sat on the swings and ran around in the courtyard playing. I loved that the light to the AC turns off when the room lights turn off but the AC is still working. It makes sleep so much better to not have a light shining on you. The rooms are very new and there’s lots of cabinet space. Parking is available. Bottled water, slippers, shampoos/body wash are all provided. We also got free tickets to the grassland which we unfortunately could not make it to but appreciated. Thank you to the owner and the staff for making our stay so comfortable! We will definitely come back and stay again!

Guest UserI came to the grassland on a self-driving tour in early August. At first, I was worried that there would be a lot of mosquitoes and bugs in the tent. There were indeed some, but I was smart enough to buy some insect repellent 🤭, and there were no more mosquitoes. In the evening, a full moon rose in the sky, the horses 🐴 were grazing leisurely under the moonlight, and the lambs were wandering around wanting to go to the hall to eat watermelon... When I woke up in the morning, the birds were pecking at the tent, which was covered with a soft quilt. I could feel the scent of the green grass on the grassland, and it felt wonderful. The room types include tents and wooden family houses. What is worth mentioning is the dinner. The dinner for 660 people in the central army tent includes 2 kilograms of mutton (cut into slices with a knife), mutton patties, stir-fried mutton offal, and various dishes. There are more than ten dishes in total, which is the most delicious and cost-effective meal we have had. The college student waiter who worked part-time during the summer vacation was also very easy to communicate with. He took the time to show us rooms and change rooms. In a word, the accommodation is comfortable and the food is satisfying!

It was a wise decision to stay in this loft B&B next to the East Railway Station when traveling to Hohhot this time! As a tourist from other places, you can arrive quickly after getting off the train. The transportation is super convenient. The host was as enthusiastic as family. He not only patiently answered our questions, but also shared travel tips and food recommendations for the surrounding area.
I was stunned the moment I walked into the room. The design of the Loft is very stylish, and the space layout is reasonable and full of artistic sense. The room is spotless, the facilities are new and complete, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are exquisite. Living here is particularly safe and comfortable, and it feels like being at home. I highly recommend it to friends who come to Hohhot. I will choose here again next time!

Guest UserBeautiful resort in the Xilamuren grasslands, with a mix of traditional yurts and unique modern-styled accommodations. I stayed in both types of accommodation and both were very comfortable. Full length windows offer views of the expansive grasslands in the day, while the yurts also have a unique skyroof design for stargazing on clearer nights.
Breakfast was quite simple local fare, mainly porridge with sides like pickles and egg, very filling. Lunch and dinner is not inclusive but there is a large menu that you can order from. The resort also has its own bar! I believe it is open nightly during the peak season of July/August, and depending on guest volumes at other times.
The boss Mr Da and his staff were so welcoming and kind. I travelled solo, and they added me on WeChat so that I could easily reach them if I had any questions or needs. Boss Da also very kindly took me to a few local sights and spots, since I did not have my own means of transport (感谢达老板!). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. If I were to visit Xilamuren again, Xilamuren Grassland Mongolian Holy Land Resort would definitely be my accommodation of choice.

Traveling with a dog 🧳Road Trip 2️⃣ night, experience a rural homestay 🏨.
The room is large, the living room 🛋️ is very spacious, equipped with a kitchen and a bar, suitable for long-term stay.
Suggestion: Currently, you need to stand in the bathtub to shower 🚿, and water splashing all over the floor is inevitable. I hope to improve it❤️.
