The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the town hall, making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city center. Although it's a 3-star hotel in an old building, the facilities are very new, the bed is soft, and there's a mini-fridge. The only downside is that the internet can be a bit slow when there are a lot of people, but that doesn't affect my overall rating!

We stayed there one night as we have booked the hot air balloon flight. Thus, didnt have much opportunity to use any facility except the restaurant. We had dinner there and food and wine were great. However, we noticed that some staff werent paying much attention to asian guests. While serving the food up to western guest, the staff was introducing the food in details but not to us. Furthermore, it took a long while to get our desserts.

It’s my second night staying here in Melbourne before heading to the airport on the next day. I find it very convenient staying here. The room is okay and good enough for a short stay or on a budget.

NOTE FOR EVERYONE : $150 DEPOSIT This property should update deposit policy on booking app. When I booked it, I called the hotel regarding deposit and they said it depends on the room I've booked, and the deposit will be between $1-100. When I came in, I need to pay $150 for deposit which is wrong information from them before. It's better to state it clearly on booking app so everyone can prepare for it. Deposit payment return to my account in 7 days. There is no issue with other things when I stayed in this hotel. My family really loved it. The tram stop just in front of the hotel and only takes 10 minutes to CBD. We stayed in Family 2 bedroom that has city view on 10th floors. Facilities are great, it has washing and dryer machines which is really helpful for someone that has baby or kids. For budget hotel, I would say this is the best experience and value that I've ever stayed in Melbourne. I paid $177 for 2 bedroom on the weekend stayed. Definitely will be back someday. I had a very pleasant stay overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, which made for a great night’s rest. I also enjoyed the view, it was fresh and satisfying. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.

We checked in around 8:30-9:00 PM on June 7, 2026. The staff member at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, which made for a great start to our stay. The hot water worked perfectly, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location, just a short walk to the sea, was fantastic. They have a swimming pool that didn't smell strongly of chlorine, and it's about 1 to 1.85m deep. There's also a hot spa right next to it with wonderfully warm water. I'd definitely want to come back! Just a heads-up: you'll need to buy your own bottled water when you check in, as none is provided in the room.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed, which was a 1 night stay before our flight. The room was quiet, very clean and a good size. The staff were very friendly and the free shuttle was great (just remember to book it). The breakfast was a really good selection. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

The location is super convenient, close to both the bus and train stations. The staff were really friendly, and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in a hostel! The neighborhood was also pretty quiet at night. Overall, I'm very satisfied! I'd recommend checking out the terrace for a cup of tea – the view overlooking the neighborhood is lovely.

This hotel is perfectly located if arriving into Melbourne on the train from Sydney. The hotel let me check in early at no extra charge. I found the staff to be cheerful, pleasant and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The coffee and tea facilities were in the room but hidden in the cupboard next to the fridge and the drinking glasses were stored in the fridge! (Never seen that done before). The swimming pool was a nice added bonus and breakfast, although very basic, was adequate. [I only stayed one night, any longer that breakfast would certainly be classed as extremely boring!😜]. I did enjoy my stay and for one or two nights would definitely stay there again.
