The car itself drives fine, but the brakes are a bit stiff. It was advertised as being able to fit two 23-inch suitcases, but it could only fit one.
The deposit was £1500, plus an additional £90 for a driver's rental. Basic insurance alone cost £2500 out-of-pocket. The insurance from Ctrip couldn't be used directly; I had to pay the out-of-pocket amount first and then claim from Ctrip. Thankfully, no accidents occurred. Unlimited mileage is indeed a good deal.
Not having a phone holder was inconvenient. The built-in navigation wasn't as good as Google Maps, although Google Maps isn't great either—it says turn right when I clearly want to turn left.
