Overall, I liked the hotel. However, it definitely needs a renovation or at least a deep clean, especially the bathroom. The biggest issue was that the shower drain was completely blocked; the water would just stand and overflow. Standing in water while showering was very unpleasant. The rooms are small, and it felt cramped for two people. We had a tiny window looking out onto a wall, but it didn't bother us much since we only came back to sleep. The location is excellent, and that's the hotel's main advantage. The staff are responsive. Breakfasts are modest, but what was actually edible included boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, and two types of cheese. That was enough for us.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Everything is easily accessible. If you need to get further into the city, there is a taxi station 80 meters away from the hotel. The structure and architecture of the hotel is very interesting and well thought out when designing.. A green courtyard with a well-designed landscape. The pool is very comfortable. The sun is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pool is cleaned and all scheduled pool procedures are performed every morning. There is a pool in the courtyard under a canopy with basic exercise equipment for those who want to lose weight and keep fit. They try to make check-in as fast as possible, even if you arrive early in the morning. With early check-in, we expected only 30 minutes of room cleaning at no extra charge. The breakfasts are plentiful and varied. A good coffee machine. You can choose a place for breakfast in the courtyard, in the restaurant, or even on the hotel's outdoor place. The room was cleaned every day. Very carefully. We changed towels and slippers every day. Since this is the old town, late in the evening you can hear the restaurants and bars in the old harbor and on other streets, but this is in all the hotels in the old town. But this problem is solved quickly. just close the good windows tightly. The view from our room was on the old harbor. Very picturesque. I really liked the hotel, we will return to it on our next visit to Antalya.

I express my deepest gratitude to the hotel management! We were greeted by a very polite and friendly receptionist who helped us carry our suitcases to our room. The room had everything listed on the website, even robes 👍🏻. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable, and the bed linens were so soft and cozy! Thank you for the wonderful, delicious, varied breakfast. We ate outside in the beautiful, cozy courtyard. The only problem was that we opened the windows at night, and we could hear music from the street. But that was our choice, even though we could have turned on the air conditioning. We only stayed one night, but I would have definitely happily stayed longer. I recommend it.

I am sorry to say that a mistake was made in my reservations for this hotel. I initially booked Nov. 5-7. Then I thought that it had been extended from Nov. 8 -12 and paid for that time but somehow it wasn’t. So today the reception person was very difficult telling me that I had to move immediately and was no help to me at all. I had stocked my room with food in the kitchen, about $ 100 worth which I cannot now use. In fact he suggested another hotel and I asked him to telephone that hotel and he said that he did and they had a room. When I got to that hotel, they did not have any call from the him from the Villa Sonsta so he lied to me about that and they had no room so I had to find another which you will see that I have done at the Kleopatra Blue Hawaii hotel with no kitchen. So I had to cancel that extension at the Villa Sonata who refused me sny reimbursement saying that I had to contact you. You will find my new reservation at the Kleopatra Blue Hawaii Hotel. So please reimburse my account with the Villa Sonata. I am very upset with the way that this was handled by them. They said my room was booked anyway so they will have booked it to somebody else for that period Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at Start Otel in Antalya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The service truly felt like a 5-star experience—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. A special thank you to Naz at the reception, who was absolutely wonderful and even upgraded my room, making my stay extra comfortable. I also truly appreciated Mustafa, who was always there to help with my luggage with a warm and helpful attitude. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The Turkish breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, paired perfectly with their tea. I really enjoyed starting my mornings there. The only small downside for me was the coffee, which could be improved—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also very strategic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and the charming old town. Everything felt accessible and convenient. Overall, Start Otel offers great value with excellent service, tasty breakfast, and a prime location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Antalya.

The place was perfect for tourists to explore the ancient city areas and the nearest gulf and coast. I recommend it as one of the best in street . The staff was so good and the breakfast is as good as the reputation of the place. The only downside to notice was the water bottles , you have to buy after the first 2 free ones you get in first day , also because of the long history of the place some of the aminities in the room needs some fixation like the toilet watering , we didn't ask for fixation of the problem because we were in hurry to go to next destination or else I think they would fix the problem as soon as we told them . Again , I recommend the place it's so pretty and elegant.

Had to change 2x the room.....besides my last room the whole 2nd floor was under construction. Even after midnight they were working. The laundry service is too expensive. They charged me €10 for a small plastic bag of cloths.

Great hotel at a perfect location, right in front of the train station, Murat pasa, directly opposite the large mall with shops, eating places and entertainment. From the hotel, there are many many Ottoman and Roman historical monuments, mosques and other places of attraction. It sits on the road of high Street which contains many shops and eating places, and bazaars. The harbour and castle are also very near. Muratpasa mosque, built in 1570, is only 3 minutes away, so convenient for those who which to pray at a mosque and hear the call of prayer from the hotel. We were only there for two nights, before we relocated to our resort. It was only about 20 minutes from Antalya airport, so was convenient after a late flight from the UK. The staff there ready to welcome you. Some staff also speak Arabic. They were helpful with any inquiries. The breakfast which we added on was basic but very good. It was served in the restaurant located on level 1. We had the best sweetest watermelon ever! There were a range of breads, salads, eggs, and cereals. It was clean. The staff member there was friendly. Our room was on the 6th (top) floor. Which was good for a nice view. You could see the tram right below and the mall right opposite. The rooms were spacious for our family of 5. It looked like it was freshly redecorated as I could smell fresh paint. The air conditioning was very good once you figure out what the symbols mean (unless you understand Turkish or use Google translate). It was neat and basic. The fridge wasn't on when we went but (imo) that would be a waste to run an empty fridge, but once we were there and the key card was in, the fridge cooled our drinks pretty quickly. There is a 'Turkish' double kettle and complementary tea and coffee. A highly recommended hotel for a sight seeing holiday. Great value for Money.

Perfect location for an overnight stay, less than 10 min by taxi from the airport. We stayed in a 2-room suite, which was relatively compact but had all nexessary amenities, two fridges, two bathroom and even a small kitchenette. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was very nice with good selection of hot and cold dishes, including cook-to-order omelette. Would definitely stay again for early morning flights.
