one of the closest hotels to the border for those entering China, making it a very convenient stop, especially for travelers and bikers. Its strategic location is perfect if you plan to cross the border early or just need a quick rest before continuing your journey. The hotel is also suitable for motorcycle riders, with easy access and practical facilities nearby. There is a halal restaurant located close to the hotel, which is helpful for Muslim travelers, although options are quite limited. In addition, there is a laundry shop nearby, making it convenient for long-distance riders or those on extended trips. Overall, Bodhi Hotel is a good and practical choice for a short stay near the border.

Zuela Guesthouse is located at the very center of the small town of Luang Namtha. It’s right opposite to the Night Market which is great for a late night dinner after a long trek. Around the guesthouse are also all the major tour agencies with whom you can book tours. The place itself is nice, with traditional wooden architecture and nice bedrooms. Operating staff is very young and a bit inexperienced, so it can take a bit longer to get things through, but not a major issue to enjoy the stay. Breakfast has 4 different choices, each one is good. Beds are relatively comfortable but could use an upgrade in terms of mattresses and insulating rooms from outside. Big plus, they offer mountain bikes, scooters as well as dirt bikes for rent! Overall a very nice stay keeping in mind the location and the very limited options around.

Let's start with the positives: the room was clean and tidy, but also completely overpriced. We had booked 3 nights through Trip.com and were told we'd have to switch rooms after two nights because they were fully booked. We were also told we could cancel the last night if we didn't want to stay. We wanted to check out the hotel first and said we'd get back to them. The odd thing was, we were the only guests. We ended up checking out a night early. We were told to cancel via Trip.com, and of course, a cancellation for the last night was not accepted. We also got the feeling they were glad to see us go. The supposed restaurant wasn't even open, so you have to go into the village. Incidentally, another reviewer was also fed the same story about the supposedly fully booked hotel. The breakfast was sufficient and the service was friendly.

This time, the elevator broke down for two consecutive days, which was inconvenient. Carrying suitcases down from the upper floors during checkout was tough. Going down wasn't too bad, but going up to the room via stairs was impossible. The shuttle service to the station and border was appreciated.　

Stayed for a night on a business trip, the location is not mentioned, because it is too small, there is no city center or city center, downstairs is full of food and play, including the kind you want to play, there is a big supermarket next door, I saw a few bad reviews before, maybe the peers are spoofing, The Lao waiter in the room was very serious. I also tipped. She was not surprised. The front desk service was also very good. The driver was a bit dry and dry. He asked him not to sit at the front desk in the future. Comfortable option for Luang Namtha! Located just a short walk from the main street and night market. Everything you need is at arm's reach. Highly recommended. There's also a viewing platform on the roof accessible to all guests.

The Chinese service is super good, just like the name of the hotel sounds friendly. When I step into a foreign country, their friendly feeling is like the warmth of home. The night is quiet and beautiful. Sitting on the balcony makes me feel comfortable and relaxes me. Especially the room is very clean. And there is no odor, good ventilation, towels and bath towels are very clean. The hotel does not require check-out or check-out, which saves time. I feel very at ease.
