Hotels With breakfast in Centre-Val de Loire, France

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Tram A stop. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The welcome was warm, with attentive staff. Negative points: two small beds pushed together instead of a queen-size bed, which is ultimately quite uncomfortable. There's no ironing board in the rooms; you have to ask for it. At the Daniel restaurant, you can't eat if you don't make a reservation. A major drawback is the €200 security deposit 😒.

It’s a cute little cottage house about 20minutes away from the Amboise train station. It was a tad far when I had to bring along a big suitcase and handcarry bag. I stayed at the rose room. It was quite comfy and I liked the bathroom with shower and bathtub too. There’s no TV or electric fan but I didn’t need those anyway. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Sound proofing might be a slight issue since it’s an old house, could hear people closing doors, walking up and down the steps which’d make the wooden floor boards creak l. The other negative bit is that there are small flies, bugs, spiders, spiderwebs in the room. Since there are flowers and plants in the little front garden too, I’d assume that it’s unavoidable that there’d be bugs and insects in the house. Unfortunately, I woke up in the middle of my sleep with my eye feeling a little strange: like i couldn’t open my left eye fully and skin around eye felt tight and stretched. When i looked into the mirror there’s a a massive swollen bump of around 1.5 inches wide. I don’t know whether a mosquito or a spider bit me, and I was probably allergic to it too. They did not have any cream, ointment, insect repellent, so it’d probably be a good idea to bring one if you decide to stay here.

The hotel is an old building, it looks very classical, but it seems that the paint is still used to hit the floor, the taste is very big. Because I went back to dinner very late at night, I lay down and found that the taste was already in the middle of the night. I was sorry to disturb. I sat with the window open for one night and was very helpless.

The location is very good. But finding something to eat is a bit difficult. The room is clean and looks good. Lovely staff But don't speak English

Ibis standard room, reception is good. Free parking, close to the airport, a little distance into the city, the city is not large, and it is very convenient to go without traffic jams. Good value for money.

Tres bon hotel tres proche du chateau Bon pour une escapade le week end Bemol les restos sont pas énormes à mon avis Et leur resto était plein donc pensez à réserver surtout le week-end On a trouvé qu’une seule serviette pour la douche et la piscine donc j’ai du insister pour avoir une deuxième. La réceptionniste a accepté de nous en donner. La piscine devient pleine pendant les heures où c’est accessible mais c’est très bien, propre et moderne

Surprise stay Yes, this accommodation really surprised us.  The room and bathroom was larger as expected and spotless clean.  Bed comfortably and we had a good night sleep.  Breaky included….Yes. All selfservice with fresh baguette and croissants  More then we have expected since we normally never order breakfast  The care taker was also very friendly and helpful  Finally got a road side car park spot infront of the door for 5 euro till 9:00am next morning  All in all we would highly recommend this place and the price was reasonable good for what is delivered

I don't understand the 3 stars for this hotel. At best 2 stars would be enough. Very basic room with passable bedding. The bathroom is more than dated. The bottom of the toilet is brown...... The bed lights no longer work so 2 small bedside lamps were quickly installed in their place. Dust everywhere and even a dead moth in the cover of the extra pillow above the wardrobe. Choose the ibis budget hotels which are much more modern with impeccable bedding and cleanliness. I will not stay in this hotel again but if you don't follow my advice, ask for a room on the garden floor. Breakfast is too expensive (11.50) however the staff is very pleasant
