Very friendly staff who were welcoming upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, everything you could ask for. I liked the location on the highway so I could get back on the road right away.

Hotel Fort Gerry never disappoints! Despite the age of the hotel, it has been updated through the times, but still maintaining it's charm. The room was perfect and couldn't of asked for anything more!

The hotel is good, the room is relatively large, just beside the highway, it is very convenient to enter and exit, it is a good place to stop for long-distance travel, and I will choose to stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is about half an hour from the airport. The environment is good. The health is very good. The waiter is very good. The breakfast is generally stayed for five days. I want to continue to live. The price is more reasonable. The price is good. I will recommend the surrounding relatives and friends. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was in this hotel for just one night and I had an exceptionally pleasant stay. Their customer service is excellent and their rooms are very neat and clean. Their complimentary breakfast is so good and rich. Their prices are super affordable and the location is central. I will come again and again.

The hotel is very clean and tidy, and the decoration is relatively modern. The location is definitely the best, the area is very lively at night and very safe. Opposite the Human Rights Museum, the view is superb. There are plenty of parking spaces, but the price is a bit expensive. The only downside is that there is no swimming pool.

If possible, select the suites in this hotel. The suites only cost about $10 per night extra, but are so worth it in terms of comfort. It was wonderful to watch television while sitting in a large, comfortable couch. The suites are extremely spacious, with a separate bedroom, and have all the amenities you would expect in a suite. The breakfast was standard hotel buffet, with a waffle station. The staff were very nice, and attentive to our needs. Overall, a pleasant night and I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Hotel is great , right beside Jets rink. Parking tough for trucks to get in the upper parking lot. There are other options. No noise. Very helpful.

The reason I gave lower score on service was that I booked this room specifically because it was “1 King POOLSIDE ROOM - DIRECT POOL ACCESS” And I got there late, like minutes before 11PM but booked room around 7PM. The man at front desk was kind and quick and gave me my cards for suite saying 3rd floor. When I got into suite I gave my son a bath and then went to look out window and saw the parking lot. I was like ***. So I called front desk and lady answered and I was like *** and explained it and she apologized and said that the suite I was supposed to get had plumbing issues so they ‘upgraded’ my suite instead. Saying it’s the executive suite which is much bigger (online cost $5-$10 more than one with poolside/pool access). I asked if it was really an upgrade if it didn’t have access to pool? Again she apologized, and I said well I think I should have been called or emailed stating that after booking and given the option to have a refund or choice of ‘upgrade’, or at the least those offers when I came to front desk! Not go to suite without telling me and me getting settled bathing my son before noticing ***. Was not impressed by that at all as I would’ve asked for refund instead since I booked it for that specific purpose, direct pool access. Aside from that upset the suite was incredibly nice, could’ve used a box of Kleenex for each room, but everything was clean and they let me do a 12pm check out (not free obviously). Breakfast was included and it was buffet/continental that was so much better than expected and really great with many many options. All the staff were nice and friendly. Aside from not being told about my suite being unavailable and not given option for upgrade or refund both at time of booking AND at front desk when checking in, I would’ve given 5star rating. The location would be ideal if I was travelling to Winnipeg given how close it is to airport, but I live here so it not being closer to home is not ideal, which any hotel around the airport would’ve rated that the same. Photos of room I should’ve got though layout was the same, but the view was not.

BBirdie13The only reason cleanliness is rated a 3 is because our room had a smell to it (not bad, it could just be the cleaning products), other than that it was clean. It’s located on the outskirts of winnipeg which is lovely for driving out of town. The service was awesome, everyone from workers to people staying was friendly, it is a very welcome and warm environment. We ended up with a top floor room and was able to move onto the ‘motel’ style rooms, which was very appreciated. The breakfast that comes with the hotel really exceeded our expectations, REAL eggs, the crispiest best hash browns, and the toast was bacon was good too. They had an interesting cinnamon bun french toast that i’d definitely try next time. They have a pantry/ little convenience store in the lobby, and I’d say the prices are reasonable, definitely would expect them to be more. On the downside the beds are on the stiffer side, but the pillows are of good quality. this wouldn’t be my first choice to come back to in winnipeg but for the price and good meal included, it’s top #5.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, there was breakfast, there was a Chinese staff, but there was nothing near the hotel, except for breakfast, there was a Subway outside and a restaurant in another hotel, overall it was great! The decoration is quite new.

MManjinder toorVery clean and comfortable room with all mod cons - more spacious than most in this central location in a capital city and the price was very reasonable for all on offer. Excellent wi-fi, nice toiletries, great choice at breakfast. The staff were very helpful, organising our taxi and allowing us to stay in the room after check out time so we could freshen up before we left for the airport. The only issue we had about the stay was the noise from the street. The hotel is in an area near some fast food restaurants and bars. The first night of the stay we were awoken by someone blasting out music in the very early hours of the morning. The following morning the bin men woke us at 5am. Nothing the hotel can do about this but if you are considering this hotel and won't be out partying till the early hours yourself maybe ask for a room on a high floor facing away from the street.

GGustavWorst service I’ve ever received in a hotel. Dropped a suit for dry cleaning on a Tuesday afternoon and front desk never once respected their promise to follow up and confirm it would be ready for my departure. Worse, after the second day, no one seemed aware of what had happened to my dry cleaning. Ended up changing my plans and moving meetings to hope for my garments to make it in time on my day of departure. Luckily it made it, but I ended up paying for a late return of my rental car. I received no apology from anyone at the hotel.
