Hotel near Zhongshan Square and Renmin Road Donggang Commercial Area,Dalian 26.4% of visitors choose this area

An absolutely perfect stay. The InterContinental Dalian boasts luxurious, elegant, and grand facilities. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and inviting, offering breathtaking views of the East Port shipyard and the ocean. Its prime downtown location provides incredibly convenient access to subway and bus lines, and taxi rides around the city are also very affordable. It's just a short walk to the historic century-old buildings around Zhongshan Square. Check-in was a breeze, and the service was attentive and incredibly warm. A special thank you to DANA at the front desk for her excellent service. I also appreciate the doormen who always helped me with my bags from the taxi. Finally, kudos to the F&B department for the thoughtful gesture of delivering red date and pear soup to my room in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dalian truly is a fantastic city!

This stay was a far cry from my visit in March this year. Both times, I booked Executive Club rooms primarily for the lounge access to relax. 1. **High Deposit**: For a three-day stay, they charged a 6500 RMB deposit. I found it quite high and double-checked, but the front desk staff was unhelpful and curt, simply stating it was hotel policy. 2. **Insufficient Water**: On the day of check-in, there were only three 350ml bottles of water. By 6 PM, I ran out and had to resort to drinking tap water from the bathroom. When I returned in the afternoon, the water situation hadn't improved, so I called housekeeping, and they brought two 500ml bottles. The next day, it was the same story! I even had my cold and fever medication laid out in the room, yet the staff didn't think to simply provide more water, like six bottles straight away? 3. **Slippers**: Yes, when I came back on the second day, I needed new slippers because the ones from the first day were completely soaked after our shower, but no fresh slippers were provided by housekeeping. 4. **The Embarrassing Afternoon**: On my third day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. I informed the front desk about this at 2 PM that afternoon. What followed was a truly embarrassing and frustrating afternoon. I explicitly told the front desk that I had a cold and a fever, needed rest, didn't want any fruit or anything, and just wanted to sleep. That afternoon, housekeeping staff brought water, slippers, and fruit in three separate trips. I was running a fever and desperately wanted to sleep, but I had to keep getting up to answer the door! I then realized I hadn't pressed the 'Do Not Disturb' button (not blaming the staff, but I had already clearly told the front desk I didn't want fruit and just wanted to sleep), so I immediately activated DND. At 5 PM, I thought I could finally get some sleep. The moment I drifted off, the front desk called, asking if I wanted to check out, extend my stay, or refresh my key card, etc. (Don't your systems track this?!). At that point, I just wanted to go home!!! The Front Office Manager's approach to resolving the issue was quite subjective. During dinner at the restaurant, I was given a hotel cartoon mascot as a 'solution.' When she called, she did express apologies for these issues and offered me a discount of just over 150 RMB (which I believe was the difference for the executive lounge when I mistakenly extended to a different room type for the fourth night). She clearly had no idea about the embarrassing experience I had that afternoon. The next morning, still running a fever, I had to listen to her lecture me. That's when I decided to write my first truly serious negative review! I hope the hotel ensures they always have enough water and slippers ready! What's the point of charging such a high deposit?

We had the best views of the Yalu River, Broken bridge and the friendship bridge from our room and could look into North Korea with binoculars. The binoculars in the room were a thoughtful addition. Mr. Huang Rui at the Reception desk was very helpful. He helped us with transport and restaurant recommendations and kept checking in on us from time to time. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was really small and congested. However, the breathtaking view made up for it. So, no complaints. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wow! Very impressive! Our family stayed here with our friends from back home for one night. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was top notch. From the decor down to the last details of cleanliness live up to the 5 star standards! The service was friendly and efficient. Most staff can speak some English to help us. Nice big windows with a great city view. The breakfast was probably one of the best in all the 5 star hotels I have tried in Asia! They had an awesome real expresso coffee machine and REAL Canadian bacon plus a very good variety of pastries and hot food! More than enough to get you through the morning and afternoon! Went to the pool on 5th floor and it had a panoramic view of the city and water was very clean. So yes! Well worth the money! Only regret was that we wish we had booked one more night of stay! Keep it up! We will be back!

This was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at during our trip to the three northeastern provinces, so it definitely deserves a five-star review. 1. The hotel's central location is convenient for transportation and offers beautiful views. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room directly overlooked the TV Tower and Youth Park. 2. The interior decor is new, stylish, and comfortable. The room itself was incredibly spacious and luxurious (the only minor flaw was that it was hard to tell if the light switches were on or off, so you had to try them out to find the right one). 3. The buffet breakfast was high-quality and unpretentious, fresh, hot, and delicious. The food displays were clear and easy to navigate, making it convenient and pleasant to dine. 4. The value for money was excellent. Just before check-in, I noticed the price was significantly lower than when I originally booked, so I re-booked (I feel Ctrip should proactively notify customers of lower prices, especially since they collect a deposit and should offer a best price guarantee). 5. This is truly a must-stay hotel in Shenyang.

Facilities: Though it's an older establishment, the facilities are well-maintained with no visible damage or wear and tear. Cleanliness: Relatively clean, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job. Environment: The hotel is quiet, despite being on a high floor. It's located in the CBD, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, making for a vibrant nightlife. Service: Very warm and welcoming, especially the young lady at the executive lounge – she was lovely and enthusiastic. The fourth-floor pool is great; it's not huge, but perfectly adequate for a good swim. The happy hour food selection was decent and satisfying, and the cocktails were particularly well-made. The mini-bar was well-stocked with drinks, including local Dalian soda and shrimp crisps.

A landmark on Youth Street, right in the city center. Even though the hotel has been open for a while and the facilities are a bit dated, it still feels very luxurious. It offers unique spots for night view photos – a perfect recommendation! Also, Sunny, our butler, provided thoughtful and responsive service; they were always there when we needed them. Our stay at the Grand Hyatt truly made our wonderful Shenyang trip even more romantic.

As soon as I entered the hotel, the handsome concierge helped me carry my luggage, showed me the way enthusiastically, and told me where to eat and where to have fun. It felt like an old friend who hadn't seen me for many years. The check-in at the front desk was also very smooth, and they helped me arrange a quiet non-smoking room. It was very considerate and the service exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the big bathtub was perfect. It was so comfortable to take a hot bath at night. I fell asleep quickly. It snowed in Fushun, and the snow scene was so beautiful. The facilities in the hotel are also very complete, with a gym and a swimming pool. I went swimming a few laps when I had nothing to do, and it felt very refreshing. The location is also good. There are shopping malls and snack streets outside, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Speaking of food, the breakfast is so rich that it makes people dazzled. There are all kinds of Chinese and Western food, especially the bread and desserts are great. The experience is very good, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely high. It is worth the money and recommended.

The hotel is a convenient 15-minute walk from the Forbidden City Grand Marshal's Mansion. You can also order takeout, including chicken drumsticks. There's a free underground parking garage that allows you to bring your car right up. The front desk service was excellent; they even gave us a free room upgrade! From the 26th-floor observation deck, you can see the Forbidden City at night. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and even had a gift bag with recommendations for local eateries. I'd definitely stay here again; super satisfied! Lao Bian Dumpling Restaurant is a direct walk away, making shopping easy. There's a supermarket if you turn left outside the hotel, and Zhongjie Street is only a five-minute walk. The free underground parking is incredibly convenient. Everything here is great, and I'll definitely be back. Self-service afternoon tea (13:00-15:00): Includes small biscuits and pastries. [Lobby Special] Freshly ground, brewed aromatic coffee: Available from 9 AM, and it's excellent.

Lovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

PPamBKKLocation is not bad, walkable to Russian Folk Street, Zhongshan Square and Youhao Square. Reception desk is on the 16th floor. Rooms start from the 6th floor up. Good size room, cozy, comfortable. Rainshower is nice and strong, but regular shower has some issue. Breakfast has good varieties, but not too exciting. Taste is ok. Not enough attendants in the restaurant resulting in a bit slow service.

GGuest UserI stayed at Conrad Dalian for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The room had a beautiful view, the breakfast was delicious, and above all, I was deeply impressed by the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff. I would especially like to thank Lily and Yaya at the reception for their warm hospitality, and I am also grateful to every other staff member who made my stay so pleasant. This is truly an outstanding hotel, and I would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommended. 굉장히 좋은호텔이고 만족했어요 직원들 서비스가 예전 한국같네요 좋은의미로 추천합니다

GGuest UserIn August 2022, I returned to China for family matters during the pandemic and was placed in quarantine at this hotel. I was even more depressed when I arrived that night to see how run-down the hotel was. But the next morning, I woke up to a large terrace and a breathtaking mountain view. I stayed there for 14 days, and was even more moved by the hotel's service. I'm determined to stay here and even walk around the grounds if I have the chance! This time, I had an unexpected trip to Dalian and specifically booked this hotel. The front desk clerk told me the hotel had just reopened. While the rooms are nicely renovated, the mountains are still the same. The service is just as welcoming, and the food is just as delicious!
