My stay at InterContinental Hefei truly exceeded my expectations, and I just have to give it a glowing review! Full marks, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
✅ The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of Swan Lake. The lake view during the day is expansive, and the night view is dazzling, making for an incredible visual experience!
✅ The suite is spacious and comfortable, with a well-designed layout. The bedding is cozy, and the bathroom facilities are complete. The attention to detail and quality are top-notch, making it feel very much like home! The living room and bedroom are clearly separated, providing excellent privacy. It's perfect for enjoying the view, relaxing, or working.
✅ The service was efficient and warm. From check-in to room service, responses were prompt and the staff were friendly, making me feel truly valued. The food tasted great and was consistently high quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, balancing both taste and experience.
Overall, my stay was comfortable, relaxing, and of high quality – absolutely impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hefei, and I will definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel's butler service was truly excellent. We arrived after watching the sunset and had brought our own food, deciding not to go for the buffet. Immediately, they sent up two bowls of hot noodle soup, saying it was for the kids to have something warm. A little later, they brought orange juice from the lobby (with 'Huangshan' written on the bottle; we kept the empty bottle to take a photo with the sunrise the next morning). In the evening at 6:58 PM, there were performances of Huangmei Opera and fish lantern dances in the lobby, all performed by the staff. After the show, they sent up foot-soaking mugwort packets, fruit, and Huangshan shortbread as a souvenir. The next morning, they delivered two coffees and bottled water, but we didn't pick them up as we didn't want to carry them, and there was already enough water in the room. The butler provided attentive care throughout the night and morning. The soundproofing in our downstairs room was quite good, so we slept very well. We saw all of Huangshan's monkeys, sea of clouds, sunrise, sunset, rime ice, and strangely shaped rocks. The snow scenery on Huangshan was stunning, staying on the mountain was definitely the right choice!

We booked a hotel for a family trip on short notice. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we had to wait for 40 minutes. However, it was already 14:00 and the child needed a nap. The hotel staff upgraded me to an executive suite. The stay experience was great! I will definitely choose Sheraton again when I come to Chuzhou!

Rooms here are really popular! I hesitated because the prices were so high, and then the B-wing rooms were all gone, so I quickly booked a room in the A-wing. Turns out, the A-wing is more expensive for a reason! The breakfast area and even the B-wing itself are completely different the next day!
The A-wing is in the same building as the front desk, and the rooms are fantastic. There were even four pairs of slippers inside! Saved me the trouble of having to go to the front desk to ask for slippers for the kids!
When I checked in, I asked about adding breakfast, and they actually gave complimentary breakfast to my family, including the kids! Huge thanks to the front desk lady, Xiao Jiang! She even added me on WeChat and sent me the sunrise and sunset times (even though we ended up missing them).
Though the room was a bit small, the layout was great, and it even had a window sill! It would be even better if there was a bay window cushion on it~ haha.
The room also had two down jackets for guests to wear when going to see the sunrise – that's incredibly thoughtful!
Compared to the B-wing where I stayed 7 years ago, I'd say, if you don't mind the extra 200, the A-wing is much better!
Oh, and they also gave us a complimentary souvenir! Not sure if that's a special perk just for Chinese New Year.

Extremely satisfied! The room was very spacious, perfect for friends to gather for tea and chats. Being on the 45th-55th floor, we had a fantastic night view. The room also included Executive Lounge access and breakfast, both of which were excellent and plentiful. A special shout-out to Joanna and the butler service; they were incredibly responsive to every request. We ordered a lot of takeout during our two-night stay, and the concierge staff went above and beyond to repeatedly help us retrieve it – truly amazing! As out-of-town visitors, this experience definitely added to our positive impression of Hefei.

We booked a suite with a 270-degree view, with a river on one side and a city view on the other, which was great. Sunny in the lobby was very friendly when we checked in. She took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding delicacies, wrote them down in detail on a small piece of paper, and sent us some fruit. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. I especially want to say that because my second sister Hongdou had red bean paste in Wuhu the day before, I saw it in the hotel this morning, so I was very excited. However, I felt that there were not enough red beans, so I asked the waiter Mavis if I could add some red beans. I thought it was impossible, but the enthusiastic Mavis immediately went to the kitchen to look for it, and found that there were only cold red beans, so she immediately helped us steam them, so that we could enjoy a very satisfying breakfast. Thanks again to the two above.

This stay was beyond my expectations! From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the clean and cozy layout of the guest rooms, every detail makes people feel comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom equipment is brand new and fully functional, and even the corners are spotless. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the hot food tastes fresh, which can fully meet the needs of different tastes. I especially want to praise the staff, whether it is helping to carry luggage or patiently answering surrounding travel guides, the service is considerate and efficient. The location is also great, with convenient transportation, and the surrounding business districts and attractions are close at hand. The price-performance ratio is super high, I will choose here next time I come, highly recommended! The front desk Tingting is very good👍

Facilities: This hotel was renovated just 2.5 years ago, so all the facilities are brand new. It's the closest hotel to the Yunggu Cable Car. However, the room was very small and cramped. While I understand that's common for hotels on the mountain, the renovation smell was incredibly strong. It was everywhere – in the hallways and in the room. Closing the window was a real struggle due to the smell. On the plus side, the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm, not cold at all, which was a huge bonus.
Cleanliness: Generally very good.
Environment: It's just 50 meters from 'Dreamland Brush' and 'Pen Holder Mountain', and 400 meters from 'Monkeys Watching the Sea'. The hotel provides a guide to take guests to see the sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening, and they take you to excellent viewing spots.
Service: The service was fantastic. The concierge constantly updated us with various information, was always responsive to requests, and provided timely reminders. They also helped with activity bookings. During peak dining hours, you get a number, and they call you when your table is ready. The room even had down jackets, which were essential for watching the sunset in the evening.
Complimentary activities:
Dual tickets to Huashan Grottoes (excluding the puzzle-solving part): This is in Tunxi, an hour's bus ride after descending the mountain, so we didn't go.
Cultural experience activities (Song-style tea ceremony/traditional incense making/Hanfu experience): Some require reservations, which the concierge will help with.
Two cups of Qimen Black Tea or Huangshan Maofeng Tea: Available for experience at the tea bar.

The room was very clean, and the hotel is located right above a pedestrian street, so it's super convenient for shopping. The lobby is on the fifth floor, and the restaurant is on the seventh. The double room we booked was also spacious, and they tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Oh, and you absolutely have to try the fried chicken across from the main entrance downstairs – it was unexpectedly delicious!

I went to Ma'anshan with my family on the weekend and booked the Golden Eagle Shangmei. First of all, I would like to praise the location of the hotel. There are large shopping malls and Yushan Lake Park next to it, which is great for eating, drinking and playing. The front desk lady was enthusiastic and even upgraded me to a lake view room. The room was very quiet and the facilities were relatively new. The breakfast was very special, with freshly made seafood porridge, steamed cakes, pancakes, etc. I recommend the noodles for breakfast, the big meat hand-rolled noodles, which are very special and delicious.

Very Good
JJamesThe hotel is in the style of an old state-owned enterprise. The facilities are too old and seem to have not been renovated. The rooms are small and damaged everywhere. Its location is the best, just within 100 meters after entering the toll gate.
The service in the front desk lobby is relatively good, and they are caring.
The mix of guests is also a problem. You can hear loud noises at four o'clock in the morning, and at six o'clock in the morning, the old men and women ”wake up” everyone like the crowing of the 🐓 in the morning. The breakfast is average.
By the way, I have to remind you that starting this year, Jiuhua Mountain does not allow self-driving to the mountain during the day (it is allowed after 5 pm, but it is also subject to the daily control notice). Guests need to pick up their own luggage and take the shuttle bus at 50 yuan per person to check in after going up the mountain, which is not very convenient.
YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Shanyu Life and Huangshan Design hotel and the experience was delightful. The location is excellent—about a 10‑minute drive from the Huangshan park entrance—yet the hotel sits in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. The hotel’s free shuttle to Huangshan was extremely convenient for a group of our size. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; All 7 of our rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very relaxing stay. The property is so tastefully designed that we were content to simply linger in the common areas after breakfast, sipping tea or practicing Chinese calligraphy in the serene setting.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the welcome hot tea while hotel owner Fang Fei introduced many interesting places to visit around Huangshan. The team also arranged a half‑day excursion to Mukeng Village Bamboo Forest, where the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed, and it was amazing climbing the hills through such dense bamboo forest. After long days of sightseeing and mountain climbing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a warm and hearty dinner awaited us, making it feel like coming home each evening. Fang Fei is also a tea master, and she not only taught us a lot about Huangshan’s famous teas but also hosted a tea‑appreciation and meditation session for us, which was exactly what our family needed after hectic travels through many Chinese cities before arriving in Huangshan.
Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Huangshan.
GGuest UserThe rooms here are very spacious, with separate areas for the shower, washbasin, and toilet. There's even a seating area for outdoor clothes. Upon check-in, the hotel provides complimentary hot spring tickets. We tried the one on the second floor, and it was genuinely good, around 47 degrees Celsius, very comfortable. There are about 5-6 outdoor pools; we found one exclusively for women. We just wrapped ourselves in the hotel's cotton bathrobes and headed down to soak. There's also an outdoor pool on the 5th floor, which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. The room's heating was incredibly strong; I had to turn it off in the middle of the night. Breakfast was plentiful, and the disposable toiletries were simple yet practical. My only minor complaint is that my room had a large glass window that couldn't be opened, though there was a small side window that could. There were no curtains, just blinds, and some houses across the way. During the day, to avoid being seen, I had to keep the blinds down and the lights on. Otherwise, everything else was great. It's also very close to the scenic area bus stop, less than 300 meters away.
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. Check-in was a breeze, and they thoughtfully recommended some great local spots to explore. My room had a cozy ambiance, and the bed was perfectly firm – not too soft, not too hard. I had an incredibly comfortable night's sleep and woke up feeling completely refreshed and energized. The bathroom featured a smart wet/dry separation, and the toiletries provided were all of good quality. The room was spotlessly clean, with attention to detail evident in every corner. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide and rich variety, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes. With fresh fruits, delicious pastries, and local specialties, I was extremely satisfied with the meal. The surrounding area is also very well-connected, making it incredibly easy to get to attractions or find great places to eat. Without a doubt, Junting Hotel will be my first choice for my next trip!
MMumudehaiThe hotel is very warm, the environment is beautiful, Zen music is comfortable, you can see the Big Buddha in the restaurant, the eggs for breakfast are local eggs from Jiuhua Mountain, they are very fragrant and delicious, the room is also very spacious, the service is considerate, and a bracelet is given as a gift, very pleasant Accommodation experience
LLanjianyunChizhou Pingtian Peninsula Hotel is a paradise for holiday! It is located in an excellent position on the south bank of Pingtian Lake, and the landscape painting surrounded by the lake on three sides is so beautiful that it makes people intoxicated. The hotel service is above five-star level, and every detail makes people feel warm. The catering is even more surprising. The breakfast noodles are freshly cooked with fragrant toppings, the Chinese restaurant has outstanding lake food, and the bamboo forest afternoon tea with guzheng is even more poetic. Cycling around the lake, walking on the water road, parent-child boat rides and other projects make the vacation full of fun. Even the children are reluctant to say goodbye when leaving the hotel!
AAnonymous UserThe room was super satisfied, clean and tidy and very comfortable. The manager and aunt in the store are very kind and friendly, and the cat is also very cute and gentle and will take the initiative to come and post. You can eat in the store. The aunt is very skilled and the food is delicious. The breakfast is not particularly varied but it is very delicious. The aunt can also help cook noodles and small wontons. The overall environment of the store is very good, the garden is very beautiful, and there is its own small vegetable garden. It is also very comfortable to walk in the hotel when you don't want to go out. In short, it is a very satisfying stay experience, and family and friends will highly recommend it.
Jjuki235The hotel environment is really good, but the transportation is really inconvenient. It takes 15 minutes to drive up from the bottom, and the winding mountain road of more than ten kilometers is quite thrilling. The hotel is just above Fengle Lake, with a very wide view and a panoramic view of the lake. However, the hotel should be a bit old, and the furniture is still a little old. Because it is in the mountains, there are sometimes some small insects such as spiders in the room, but don't worry too much. The service of the hotel is average, and it is quite satisfactory. There are some drinks provided on the first day of check-in, which is still good. The breakfast is actually very average, there are not many dishes, a little more than the express hotel, but there are still noodles and wontons.
