Highly recommend the InterContinental Hefei! 👍 It's centrally located by Swan Lake, close to Anhui Museum, Hechai 1972, and Leijie, making getting around super convenient 🚗. The room was spacious and comfortable 🛏️, equipped with an air purifier, and the bathroom was clean with no strange odors 🚿. Our dedicated butler was fantastic, providing attentive and thoughtful service 💁. They proactively offered us a quiet, non-smoking floor and even helped us order food and deliver it to our room 🍜. The kids were tired from sightseeing and were able to enjoy a meal as soon as we got back. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious 🍳; even though there were many people, everything was well-organized, and they even had some special Hefei snacks. Overall, a perfect experience! Kudos to all the staff. Staying here with kids in Hefei was incredibly stress-free. We received a lovely welcome gift upon check-in and a fridge magnet when we left, which made us very happy. Highly, highly recommend! ✨

During the spring break, I took my kids to Huangshan to explore the places mentioned in their textbooks. We planned for a two-day trip and chose to stay at Baiyun Hotel on the mountain top, close to Bright Summit, on the first night. Manager Shi Xiaomin, who assisted us, was incredibly welcoming. We had originally booked a standard room in Area B, which was a bit further away, but Manager Shi kindly upgraded us to a standard room in Area A for free. This made it much more convenient for us to catch performances and enjoy the buffet. Manager Shi also thoughtfully provided us with some complimentary wine and snacks, and reminded us about the sunset and sunrise times. Both the adults and children were very satisfied with our stay at Baiyun Hotel. Thumbs up to Manager Shi! 👍🏻

I was able to stay there without any problems with my Japanese passport. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. There are small eateries and seafood restaurants nearby, so there is no problem finding something to eat. It is a little far from the station, but a taxi arrived quickly.

🏨The Huangshan Xihai Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a four-star boutique hotel on top of Mount Huangshan! Its location is superb, close to the West Sea Grand Canyon and Paiyun Pavilion, making it incredibly convenient for watching sunrises and sunsets, sea of clouds, and unique pine trees. The facilities are high-end, and the rooms are comfortable, with heating, hot water, and smart bathroom amenities all available even at this high altitude. The service is thoughtful, offering butler-style assistance and abundant gourmet food. It's definitely a quality choice for accommodation in Huangshan!

Negative: - staffs English is not good, they still use cellphone translation - response time at reception for a a keycard replacement was slow - you can see that the corners in the rooms and bar are not thorough cleaned and that although it’s a fairly new hotel, it already looks a little run down here and there - in one of two rooms has been smoked before, although it’s a nonsmoking floor - waiter at breakfast argued that the water will cool down when I asked for cold water and he brought hot, instead of bringing cold water when I asked. After further arguing he finally brought a cup of cold water. - hotel cannot issue an invoice or fapiao so you have to go via Ctrip, which is an additional annoying step Positive: - got a WeChat contact who spoke English and was very helpful and asked if I want to change the room with the smoke smell - breakfast is great - elevators are arriving fast - view is great Have not tried the pool or gym.

We booked a suite with a 270-degree view, with a river on one side and a city view on the other, which was great. Sunny in the lobby was very friendly when we checked in. She took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding delicacies, wrote them down in detail on a small piece of paper, and sent us some fruit. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. I especially want to say that because my second sister Hongdou had red bean paste in Wuhu the day before, I saw it in the hotel this morning, so I was very excited. However, I felt that there were not enough red beans, so I asked the waiter Mavis if I could add some red beans. I thought it was impossible, but the enthusiastic Mavis immediately went to the kitchen to look for it, and found that there were only cold red beans, so she immediately helped us steam them, so that we could enjoy a very satisfying breakfast. Thanks again to the two above.

This stay was beyond my expectations! From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the clean and cozy layout of the guest rooms, every detail makes people feel comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom equipment is brand new and fully functional, and even the corners are spotless. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the hot food tastes fresh, which can fully meet the needs of different tastes. I especially want to praise the staff, whether it is helping to carry luggage or patiently answering surrounding travel guides, the service is considerate and efficient. The location is also great, with convenient transportation, and the surrounding business districts and attractions are close at hand. The price-performance ratio is super high, I will choose here next time I come, highly recommended! The front desk Tingting is very good👍

Taking advantage of the March off-season, I decided to tackle Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) for a weekend. Everyone says 'no mountains are worth seeing after you've seen Huangshan,' and indeed, the natural scenery is absolutely stunning, with very well-planned visitor areas. Before this trip, I specifically booked the newest Beihai Hotel in Huangshan to catch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel is located in the Beihai Scenic Area, very close to 'Brush Pen Peak,' 'Beginning-to-Believe Peak,' and 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea.' If you take the cable car up from the back mountain, it's only a 40-minute walk, which is super convenient! The hotel completely shattered my preconceived notions of dilapidated accommodations in mountain scenic areas. The design and overall sophistication are excellent, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Our concierge, Xinyu, proactively informed us about the sunrise/sunset gathering times and other hotel activities, which was a very nice touch. I also have to mention that the hotel's buffet truly made me feel like I was getting 'value for money' in a scenic area. For 198 RMB per person, to enjoy such a rich and abundant dinner on top of the mountain, completely soothed away a day's fatigue! Full marks, highly recommended!

Let's start with the positives. 1. **Excellent Location**: Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street is right downstairs, and so is Kawaoka (a popular local bubble tea chain). 2. **Outstanding Laundry Service**: The lady working in the laundry room was incredibly helpful. She washed, dried, and even folded our clothes, then brought them back to our room. 3. **Good Breakfast**: The breakfast had a great variety, and there's a kids' play area in the restaurant, which allowed adults to enjoy their meal while the children played. Now for the disappointments. 1. **Overwhelming Smoke Smell**: The entire hotel reeked of smoke! There were ashtrays by the elevators on every floor – are they encouraging smoking? As soon as we opened our room door, a strong smoky smell hit us, which totally goes against the impression I have of the Mercure brand. 2. **Outdated Room Facilities**: While the hotel only opened in 2021, the facilities are poorly maintained. Many floorboards are peeling and cracked, which was quite disappointing upon entering the room. 3. **No Air Conditioning**: We were told that it wasn't the season for AC, and only a central fan was available. The weather was very hot, and while they provided a fan for the room, it was incredibly noisy at night! I woke up in a sweat. 4. **Unimpressive Lobby Entrance**: The hotel lobby is on the 5th floor, and the entrance from the 1st floor was rather unappealing, giving it a feel more like a family guesthouse than a hotel. Overall, if you're staying for just one night for the location, it's acceptable. However, the overall experience simply can't compare to other Mercure hotels in different cities. With so many other hotels available, I wouldn't necessarily choose this one again.

We stayed 10 days in Golden Eagle in June 2023. The location of this hotel is great. The service is awesome. The front desk reception Michelle and others are friendly and professional. I ran into the general manager in the lobby one day asking where to buy 风油精, she worked with her staff to get me one in a few mins. The breakfast is good with many choices. The gym is fine and my boy likes it. Unfortunately the swimming pool was under repair so he didn’t get a chance to use it. We will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.
