Beach Hotels in Western Visayas, Philippines

This hotel has a lot of activities inside, perfect for family and groups of people doing team buildings and such. It is huge with a private beach and an infinity pool. The only problem is that, this resort is quite far from the main beach so you need to take a public transpo in order to get to stations 1,2 and 3. Overall, if you need a peaceful, less crowded get away place, this is highly recommended.

Had such a wonderful stay! The hotel exceeded my expectations the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. I also appreciate the great service and thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Excellent 5-star hotel, Filipino style. It's very authentic and charming, with access to two neighboring luxury hotels. The staff are incredibly hardworking. They aren't experts at making cocktails, but if you explain what you want, they'll make it as requested. The spirits are good, and so are the bottled wines. There are many different romantic setups and similar options on the beach. The private beach is very clean, and the scenery and sea are magical. Breakfast is quite good, but otherwise, like everywhere else on this island, they don't seem to know how to cook. We tried eating at the Shangri-La and the hotel next door, and everywhere it felt like the chef wouldn't even eat their own food; I won't even bother describing it, everything was off. You really need to find a place with good food right away, otherwise you risk eating only bread rolls! 😁 But the coffee is very good there, and you can take it to go from breakfast. The staff are very friendly. As for cons, there's no late check-out. We were offered a maximum check-out at 2 PM for an extra charge, and after that, only booking for a full day was an option.

Henan Lagoon is the best; this is my second stay, and they always do their best to serve well. All staff are friendly and very accommodating. Clean towels are provided daily along with beach towels. The buffet breakfast is great, though we usually just eat bread in the morning. I love staying here. It’s worth the price. They also offer tours for island hopping. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Boracay for 8 days, and Paradise Garden Resort was the third hotel we checked into during the trip. Surprisingly, among all the hotels we stayed at, Paradise Garden was one of the more affordable ones yet it ended up giving us one of the best overall experiences. We’re currently staying at Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay, which has a higher rate and supposedly more premium services, but honestly, Paradise Garden stood out so much more because of how consistent and exceptional their service was. From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt smooth and welcoming. The lobby had plenty of seating for guests checking in and out, which was a huge relief especially after being out in the heat. Check-in was hassle-free, and we were even allowed to check in earlier than the standard 2 PM time. Someone also personally assisted us to our room which makes sense because the property itself is huge. At first, I thought we wouldn’t even use the pools because, well, you’re already in Boracay. But surprisingly, we still enjoyed them a lot. The pools were clean, well-maintained, and not a hassle to use at all. The resort itself definitely shows its age, and you can tell it has been operating for a long time, but despite that, the service remained exceptional. The staff were consistently courteous and accommodating. I also loved that they had a beachfront area exclusively for Paradise Garden guests. We were able to borrow beach towels for free, and the seating area in front was actually really nice. There were also thoughtful extras like live band performances, massage services by the beach, and even a pool area with a functioning open bar not just something “for display,” but something guests could genuinely enjoy. The room itself was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I’m very particular about beds and sheets when staying at hotels, and I honestly slept so well there. Our experience was so good that I genuinely wished we had stayed there for three days instead of just one night. Even checking out was seamless. No issues, no stress just consistently good service from start to finish. That’s probably the best way I can describe Paradise Garden: consistent. Out of the four hotels we stayed at during this Boracay trip, Paradise Garden is honestly the one I would choose to return to. For me, it’s such an underrated hidden gem in Boracay.

The top-floor room was a duplex, and my whole family loved it the moment we opened the door. We put the little ones in the big bed downstairs, and the oldest had enough space to himself upstairs. The surroundings were also great; just across the road was the beach, there's a restaurant downstairs, and a 7-Eleven next door.

We had an amazing experience at Mandarin Island Hotel during our vacation in Boracay Island. The hotel combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service perfectly. The beachfront location was ideal, giving us easy access to the beautiful white sand beach, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Our room was spotless, cozy, and very relaxing after a long day of exploring the island. What made our stay extra special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They were always accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly recommend Mandarin Island Hotel to anyone visiting Boracay. Definitely a five-star experience!

Staff where people friendly; Very Accommodating. For the amenities: the place is clean; I feel so comfortable. safe place for solo travelers. and it's not that much expensive (Budget friendly) 😊 Overall Its Very Worth it.

The resort’s excellent location is the main reason I decided to book my stay here again. My second reason is the cleanliness of the rooms, followed by the delicious daily buffet breakfast. My 4-year-old grandson especially enjoyed playing in the pool and spent time there almost every day. The nightly fire dance performances also made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. One thing I would like to highlight is the efficiency and helpfulness of the front desk staff. I accidentally left a backpack behind, and they managed to arrange for them to be delivered to Caticlan Airport just in time for my flight. I truly appreciate their quick response and excellent service. Thank you so much to the front desk staff and the driver for going the extra mile to help us. Your assistance made a big difference and is greatly appreciated!
