I really loved the vibe and scenery of the resort—it was such a relaxing place to stay. The room was perfect; everything was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. However, there were a couple of downsides. When we checked in, there was no WiFi, and we were informed that the internet provider had ongoing issues. Unfortunately, this wasn’t fixed throughout our stay. Additionally, the pool could use some improvement in terms of water clarity. The water appeared blurry and gray, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a great experience, but these small issues could be improved to make the stay even better.
Very comfortable location, very private space, relatively large room, bed and sofa are very comfortable. The waiters are all very enthusiastic, and the most attentive employees are probably the two young men from the restaurant in the outer area!
There are also many shortcomings, the bathroom supplies are too old and are in a broken state; the TV is too small and the space is too different from the original room, and the waiter is difficult to find. What frightened me the most was John, the service staff at the front desk. Seeing the different attitudes towards each other and being particularly difficult with Chinese passports, this caused me to bury my head in the dark about this store!
Super cozy and clean.
This is a highly recommended unit for a hassle-free staycation. Amenities are complete, and the place is just as advertised in the photos. Too bad we couldn't access the swimming pool and the beach area because the pool was closed and there was no water.
The environment is great, and the hotel has two swimming pools, one on the ground floor and another on the sixth floor. The beach is right in front of the hotel, making it a perfect spot for families and couples to visit and relax. However, the only downside is the cold attitude of the front desk staff. It feels like people in Subic, in general, have this cool demeanor; when you ask questions, the staff seems to answer reluctantly and superficially. Also, the underground parking lot is chaotic with cars parked haphazardly.
I have stayed previously hereon a few occasions, finding it convenient. It is in a good location close to restaurants and bars money changer.
I believe it's good value for money despite limited amenities.
Staff are friendly.
Direct access to Sparrows Cafe is good where locals & foreigners eat.

Write a first person review of aqua beach club Angeles
Stepping into Aqua Beach Club in Angeles City felt like entering a different world. As soon as I walked onto the 7th floor of the ABC Hotel, the vibrant energy hit me. The first thing that struck me was the sheer size of the place – it’s a three-story super club, which is genuinely impressive for a pool club.
The main pool area was definitely the heart of the action. It's a massive negative-edge pool, and being able to literally swim up to the bar and order a drink felt incredibly luxurious. I spent a good amount of time just lounging in the water, sipping on a cocktail and soaking in the atmosphere. The music was always pumping, with a DJ playing a great mix of tracks that kept the energy high without being overwhelming.
I loved the option of the cabanas. I didn't splurge on a Presidential Cabana, but even the standard ones looked amazing – some are two-story, with private living rooms, TVs, and direct pool access. It felt like a true VIP experience, even if I was just enjoying the general admission pool area. The free towel, robe, and locker access for paying guests was a nice touch, too, making it easy to just show up and dive in.
The vibe was definitely ”party central.” It's clear that Aqua Beach Club is designed for a good time. There were groups of friends, couples, and solo travelers all mingling and enjoying themselves. While it's a lively place, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff were attentive, constantly clearing glasses and making sure everyone was having a good time. I noticed them being quite strict about not allowing outside food or drinks, which definitely helps maintain the club's quality.
Beyond the main pool, I explored the Aqua Sky Deck, which offered a fantastic 360-degree view of Angeles City. It was a perfect spot to catch the sunset and enjoy a slightly more relaxed pace than the main pool, though the music still carried up there. There's also the Millionaires Spa, which I didn't try this time, but the idea of getting a massage while still being part of the club's energetic vibe sounds pretty unique.

Our stay was pleasant with all the attentive and kind staff, I even got my coffee changed! There were live singers singing old classics to add to the holiday cheer.
The Sands resto staff were very accommodating and the manager even replaced my bland coffee.
The front office informed us of the 20% discount promo on our arrival date. I just wished we get to receive the promo discount, too.😊
The hotel housekeeping staff were very kind and polite. They replaced my defective electric kettle and gave me addnl bottled water for the inconvenience. They even provide nightcap treats! Sweets! ❤️
The hotel needs upgrading though. The shower had no hot water.
Booked the hotel for the Subic International Marathon 2025. Excellent location. Close to the event and plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes. The hotel breakfast is really good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and I love their ring light mirror in the bathroom. I didn’t get a chance to take a dip in the pool since I was exhausted from the half marathon.
