Beach Hotels in Zeeland, Netherlands

Our stay was nice at first, and we even got a room upgrade, which was great. Unfortunately, the airco was super noisy it sounded like an airplane! When my husband mentioned it to the receptionist that night, she just said, “Why don’t you sleep without airco?” and gave no solution. We ended up sleeping without it, but the room was so stuffy. We had to open the door a few times, though it didn’t feel safe since the balcony faced the street. Luckily, the receptionist the next morning was very kind, apologized, and gave us something complimentary as compensation. So glad it was a different person!

Average stay with room for improvement My experience at Hotel Solskin was acceptable overall, but the room itself did not live up to expectations. First, the room was completely different from what was shown in the advertising pictures. It was also quite warm and stuffy, lacking air conditioning to keep it comfortable. Be aware that the ladders leading up are very steep. A small touch like providing tea in the room was also missing. It's an okay option, but there's definitely room for improvement in accuracy and guest comfort.

We didn’t stay in the hotel in the end. We cancelled on the spot because the wellness facility was not as promise. They should update their website and at all booking applications about any temporary or not temporary change in their hotel.

Fantastisch hotel met mooie kamer. Heerlijk gegeten, echt een top keuken! Ook in de wellness geweest, was erg druk dus geen bedje om op te liggen. Puntje van aandacht zijn de vervelende kinderen in het zwembad met geschreeuw en springen vanaf de kant. En we misten extra handdoeken en een badjas in de wellness. Maar heel uit gebreide keuze in sauna’s! Echt een top hotel

If you come this town for business in the shipyard or Port, Vessel, Here is good for staying. SPAR is just infront. Good restaurant but expensive but big amount.

Le séjour s’est très bien passé dans l’ensemble, un peu déçu de n’avoir pas pu dîner au restaurant, celui-ci étant complet. Dommage qu’il n’y ai plus de BAR, celui-ci est fermé, À regret qu’il n’y ai plus de sauna, la personne de l’accueil ne nous en a pas du tout parlé. Nous supposons qu’il était fermé. Un petit rafraîchissement de l’hôtel serait nécessaire bien que pour le prix nous avons été satisfait, cet hôtel est quand même un monument historique avec tout le charme de l ancien. Le petit déjeuner est complet est très bon .

The hotel was all right, but I think it doesn't correspond to 4-Sterne-Standard. The location is quite good – The city centre is available in about 20 minutes walking distance. However, the room's condition remains to be desired. The bathroom was in a bad condition, there was fungi, which was really unpleasant. The worst was the bed: instead of a large double bed, there were two single beds that were constantly disconnected, making sleep very uncomfortable. Overall, there is a significant need for improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

A beautiful and spacious room with two separate rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the sea, and there is parking. A great point was that there were no served, cottage, glass or kitchenware in the kitchen at all, only paper cups for coffee or tea.

Pessima ospitalità e pessima accoglienza. Dopo aver prenotato e pagato la camera sul vostro sito, mi è arrivata una richiesta dall’hotel di pagare per le lenzuola e gli asciugamani  o altrimenti dovevo portarmeli da casa. Ho pagato 39,95 euro. Avevo comunicato all’hotel che sarei arrivato tardi la sera a causa del mio volo per Bruxelles e cortesemente mi hanno lasciato la chiave della mia stanza in un key safe. Purtroppo con pioggia e vento forti alle 10 di sera ho trascorso  più di un ora a cercare di fare aprire il key safe, ma inutilmente il codice inviatomi era errato. Trovo un altro key safe e lì il codice funzionava ma dentro non c’era la chiave. Avevo la colazione inclusa nella camera e mi è stata richiesto di pagare le uniche due colazioni fatte, ma ho rifiutato mostrando la mia prenotazione. Adesso ho trovato una e-mail dall’hotel in cui mi chiedono di pagare la tassa turistica per due persone, invece io ero il solo ospite.

It was a moderate stay, unfortunately. There's little room for toilet stuff in the bathroom. After the shower, the bathroom was completely wet. Shampoo open bathroom. And very obeyed. And with breakfast, the white bread was all sparkled.
