My stay at this hotel was, overall, very satisfying. The entire process, from check-in to check-out, went smoothly, leaving me with a great impression of my accommodation. First off, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to transportation. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making daily commutes and dining a breeze. Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by a clean, tidy, and comfortable environment, exuding a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with the check-in process, patiently answering all my questions, which I found very thoughtful. I was also quite pleased with the room. It was clean and well-maintained with a sensible layout. The bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The in-room facilities were comprehensive, with the air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi all working perfectly and conveniently. The cleanliness was also excellent; everything looked neat and fresh, making for a reassuring stay. Furthermore, some of the hotel's amenities added to the positive experience. The breakfast selection was quite varied, offering both simple Chinese dishes and some Western options, and the taste was pretty good. The restaurant environment was clean, and I found it quite relaxing and comfortable to dine there in the morning. Of course, there's always room for improvement, for example, better soundproofing would be ideal. However, overall, my stay was still very pleasant. From the environment and service to the overall value for money, everything met a very satisfactory standard. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would still consider choosing this hotel and would happily recommend it to friends looking for a place to stay.

The place is quite nice, facing the sea. However, the floor is a bit low, and the parking spot is on the top floor, which is a bit inconvenient. But it's very convenient outside, you can buy daily necessities. I'll stay here again next time I visit.

YYANGSONG TEO 2026.02.22
We recently stayed at Hyatt Kuantan and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet the usual standards I associate with the Hyatt brand. While the property has a good location and overall potential, the hotel itself appears somewhat aged and clearly in need of refurbishment and modernization. The F&B offerings lacked creativity and refinement. The menu selection felt rather basic, and the presentation and variety did not reflect the elevated dining experience typically expected from Hyatt properties elsewhere. There is definitely room for improvement in both quality and innovation. Front desk communication was another area of concern. Response time was slow, and coordination appeared inconsistent, resulting in unnecessary waiting and minor confusion during check-in and inquiries. Housekeeping standards were also below par — room upkeep felt average at best, with details that were not attended to carefully. Overall, while the hotel may still serve as a functional stay option in Kuantan, the level of hospitality and service fell short compared to other Hyatt properties I have experienced. With proper upgrades and service improvements, the hotel certainly has the potential to better align with Hyatt’s usual brand standards.

Wonderful 3D2N Family Stay at Swiss-Grand Hotel, Kuantan We recently enjoyed a 3D2N family vacation at Swiss‑Grand Hotel Kuantan, and it was truly a memorable and relaxing experience for all of us. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made us feel comfortable right away. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained — perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the beautiful sea view and the calming sound of the waves, which created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip. Housekeeping services were excellent and consistent during our stay. One of the highlights was the hotel’s facilities. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids, while the direct beach access allowed us to enjoy relaxing walks and family bonding time by the sea. The environment was safe and family-friendly. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options suitable for both adults and children. Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free. This hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing seaside getaway in Kuantan. We would definitely love to return again in the future! ✨ Thank you for making our family trip such a wonderful memory!

The exterior of the hotel appears quite old, but the rooms are clean, neat, and well-maintained. The main highlight of this hotel is the mini water park and swimming pool, which are a big hit with the kids. They had a great time, making it a fun and enjoyable stay for families.

Small room but we checked in for a rest so it is sufficient for us. Only one thing, i suggest people do not go park at the basement because when came at the morning our car is full of cotton “snow”. The hotel laundry is nearby so….yeah

I recently had the chance to stay at Adena Beach Resort, and honestly it turned out to be a really refreshing getaway. The biggest highlight is definitely the private beach. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk straight to the beach in the morning is something you don’t get everywhere. The beach was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a slow morning walk during sunrise. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with a relaxing view that makes you feel like you’re truly on a break from the city. The resort itself has a calm atmosphere — not overly crowded, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, the service felt warm and welcoming. Small gestures from the team really made the stay more pleasant. If you’re looking for a quiet beach escape in Pahang, especially near Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the sea breeze for a while. Would definitely come back again for another short retreat.

I had terible experience stay under this management. Beds full of bugs, toilet were VERY dirty. Ask the management to clean up the unit but the management changed my room, after change room, same problem occur, toilet still dirty, FLUSH BROKEN, can't flush. Only bugs dissapear in the second unit. Please check carefully before you check in. I dont understand they actively open these unit for rental. you better check carefully ya. Aminities all A+ under the Timurbay, only this management were the main problem.

This beachfront guesthouse truly excels in both the guest experience and its management. It boasts stunning sea views, with clean, well-lit rooms; some even offer direct sunset views over the ocean. The front desk and room service teams are professional and courteous, handling check-ins, luggage storage, and in-room requests promptly. The property is well-designed with excellent facilities for families and vacationers, and the beach is just a short walk away. It's an ideal getaway for families, couples, and friends. Overall, the stay was comfortable and offered great value for money, reflecting excellent operational standards. It's definitely a place worth revisiting and recommending.

2. Satisfactory With Room for Improvement The overall stay was decent, with the hotel offering a pleasant décor and a generally comfortable environment. Cleanliness met basic expectations, though certain areas could benefit from more consistent upkeep. Hospitality was polite but occasionally lacked promptness and attention to detail. With some improvements in service quality and housekeeping standards, the hotel could deliver a much better experience.

IIgnasExcellent resort, good food, very nice environment and atmosphere. Only issue we had was with pick up from the jetty ferry. We arranged pick up details via email and got a confirmation, however, when we arrived there was no one to pick us up. We tried calling hotel front desk and whatsapp but no response. Finally a local shop keeper helped us call a different number and they come pick us up from Tunamaya Resort. They said they had no details about our pick up time despite having confirmed it via email more than 2 weeks prior. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant.

WWanee ZulkifliMe and my husband booked this hotel for our staycation before Ramadan start. The price offer affordable with our budget since we went there during school holiday and CNY. We choose superior room which located in front of the pool. The resort are huge/big, a bit classic since the room interior quite oldies. I guess it's true this resort was build on 1987~ somewhere. The resorts well maintain, the staff are welcoming, polite, good PR with guests inquiries. The resort have great access to the beach that you may walk from the room/pool/restaurants. They have 2 pools, the one are surround by the villas/superior room and they have pool theme park (small theme park), require to wear the bands (will provide during check-in), the kids definitely enjoyed playing at the pool so do adults too. The other side of theme park pool, the have pool facing the beach and besids the restaurant, and of course their lifeguard always monitor the guests in pool area. There so many type of rooms you may choose in future. Furthermore, their breakfast menus are satisfied to enjoy, staff that always ready to clean up once guest finished their meal. Overall it's very comfy, nice and beautiful resort to choose for staycation/holiday. Definitely will come again in future.

BBeeshman BahiradanBerjaya Tioman Resort exceeded every expectation — a true island gem that combines natural beauty, comfort, and warm Malaysian hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a refreshing drink, instantly setting the tone for a memorable stay. What really stood out was the impeccable service. Every staff member was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was arranging snorkeling excursions, jungle treks, or just offering local insights, the team made us feel valued and well cared for. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that still offers adventure, comfort, and incredible scenery, Berjaya Tioman Resort is the place to be.

GGuest UserThe island's scenery is breathtaking, especially in the evenings as the sun sets. The combination of the boardwalk, the water, the clouds, and the seagulls is truly captivating. You can also snorkel and kayak on the island, or simply relax on a cushion by the beach, gazing at the clear blue water, listening to the crashing waves, and minding your own business. It's a relaxing and comfortable experience. The rooms are decorated in a wood-style style. Ours even had a small pool, a patio, and a small loft. Everything was well-equipped. Knowing we were Chinese tourists, they even switched the Netflix program on the TV to Chinese—a thoughtful touch. The hotel also offers a turndown service with scented candles and a small note on a leaf, making you feel instantly at home. Regarding food, there's a Malaysian restaurant and an Italian restaurant on the island (the hotel owner is Italian, married to a Malaysian woman, and built a hotel here). Breakfast is served at the hotel's buffet, offering both a buffet and à la carte options. The bread, various toasts, muffins, and yogurt are all delicious. I recommend ordering the ones with peanut butter. We only ate at the Italian restaurant once, which was average. The rest of our stay was at the Malaysian restaurant. The chef is a master at making rich, spicy, sour, and fried dishes, and he's very humorous. The smoothies are also very authentic, and I especially recommend the green apple juice, which is a refreshing summer treat. There's also a small bar during happy hour that sells grilled food and fresh seafood. We didn't know about it and missed it, but we ended up ordering a burger, which was amazing! The gravy was juicy, and while the bread was a little dry, it outweighed the problem. Even the roasted potatoes on the side were delicious! Finally, the hotel service here is impeccable. The staff greets you with a smile and immediately seeks to assist you with any needs. In short, it feels like home, and thinking of them brings a sense of security. Transportation was a bit of a hassle. We landed at Kuala Lumpur Airport, chartered a car to Mersing for a ferry, and spent a few hours exploring Malacca along the way. We departed from the airport's Outlet at around 2:00 PM, arrived in Malacca around 4:00 or 5:00 PM, and departed for Mersing at 7:00 PM, arriving around 11:00 PM. We slept in a homestay in Mersing. The next day, we took the 11:30 PM ferry to Tioman Island, and then another ten-minute ride on the hotel's boat to the hotel. It was a hassle, but on our last day, the hotel dropped us off at the Tioman Island jetty for the ferry. Seeing them say goodbye to us, I couldn't help but think I'd return one day. Besides the scenery, it was their simplicity, sincerity, and thoughtfulness that made this hotel feel like home. It truly was ”home, sweet home.”

GGuest UserThis was our second stay at the hotel with my family, and I noticed quite a few changes. The swimming pool is now very close to the beach, most likely due to the monsoon season affecting the shoreline. The food selection was disappointing with very limited variety, and honestly, not worth the price. However, I did enjoy the location — it feels private and away from the crowds, which is a plus. The room itself was fairly clean, but the TV channels were limited, and there was no iron or hair dryer provided. For the price, it didn’t feel like good value, but for 3 adults and 2 kids, it was acceptable overall.
