Place and stay is ok but the customer service absolutely worst .. the admins are very rude and doesn’t reply on time . 2 days stay the aircond never work and we slept in hot . When we text they never reply for it at all . THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They only reply for keys and money . Not repeating again ….not suitable to stay 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I stayed at Birkin International Hotel in Melaka from Tuesday to Thursday. As the hotel is still new, I understand that some facilities and security features may not yet be fully operational—for example, access control requiring a room card to enter guest floors. I also understand that, as a newly opened hotel, some rooms may not have undergone complete inspections. Upon check-in, the first room assigned to us had several defects: the toilet basin was choked, and the basin handle in the small kitchen area had come off. We contacted the front desk for assistance regarding the choked basin, and they offered us a room change. A staff member whom I believe was the hotel manager came up personally, escorted us to another room, and informed us that we had been upgraded. We truly appreciated this gesture and the prompt service provided. We checked in around 3:00 p.m. and were feeling hungry, so we decided to try the hotel food. We ordered two slices of cake, fish and chips, and pizza. The food was nice and delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, I would like to highlight a concern regarding the breakfast experience. As this is a five-star hotel, I expected a high standard of hygiene with zero tolerance for flies in the dining area. Unfortunately, I noticed several flies during breakfast. On one occasion, during the nasi lemak service, I saw a fly land on a bowl of eggs. I pointed this out to the staff, but they only removed the piece of egg that the fly had landed on. This was quite alarming, and as a result, I did not dare to try the nasi lemak at all. Later, I noticed one of the staff attempting to smash a fly while wearing gloves. This made me wonder whether the gloves would be changed afterward if the fly was successfully killed. This raised further concerns about food hygiene. Because of this, I became worried and chose to eat only items that were freshly cooked on the spot, such as curry noodles. Overall, I felt disappointed with the breakfast hygiene standards and sincerely hope the hotel will take this matter more seriously. I believe Birkin International Hotel has great potential, and with improved attention to cleanliness and food safety, it can offer a much better experience for guests. My friends and I enjoyed our stay with DoubleTree by Hilton. The room was comfortable for 3 pax and was well furnished with various amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we required assistance, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet which offered a variety of cuisines to choose from and the food was all delicious indeed. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Our stay at Puteri Bay Melaka was great 👍🏼 The location was great because we are able to have a good view of the beach, and it was near food places. The hotel reception and staff were also kind and helpful. Food selection for breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable and had a good sleep 👍🏼👍🏼 The downside was that the toilet was not totally clean as there were strands of hairs sticking out from under the bed. Additionally, there were no toothbrushes provided in the room, and the prayer mat had an odour. Generally, the stay was good although maybe staff need to ensure the room cleanliness and smell abit more? I would still recommend the hotel for the comfortable beds and nice view and location beside the waterfront 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The location is great, just about a 10-minute walk to Jonker Street if you turn left outside the guesthouse. There's a newly opened market (pasar) in front of the guesthouse, operating from 6 AM to 11 AM, where you can buy inexpensive fruits. I bought fresh passion fruit for 12 RM per kilo; the owner told me he only gets 10 kilos daily from a local supplier. If you walk right for about 5 minutes, you'll find the Jonker Street Tea Restaurant, a 99 mini-market, and a KK Mart, which is very convenient. Upon checking in, I did find a small cockroach on the floor in my room, but thankfully, the rest of the place seemed clean. There was only one large bottle of shower gel, no shampoo, toothbrushes, or cups provided. There's a water dispenser next to the front desk, so remember to bring your own water bottle to fill up.

The stay was really worth the price! The house is spacious, clean, and fully equipped with various amenities. The sea view is absolutely beautiful. it made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The host also provided 4 extra mattresses, which was very helpful since we came as a big group. The air conditioning in every room was cold and worked perfectly, making it very comfortable to sleep. Everything promised in the listing was provided, and all the facilities were in good condition. The location is also strategic, easy to find food and close to many attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a vacation with family or friends while taking in the gorgeous sea view. Thank you to the host for the great hospitality and the comfortable home. God willing, we’ll choose this place again next time!

The room has a cozy, rustic village style with wooden walls, colorful stained-glass windows, and vintage decor. The bed is clean and comfortable for a pleasant stay.

The location is good. It is in the center of tourist attractions, but the elevator in the lobby corresponding to the parking lot is difficult to find. The hotel has a good breakfast location, with sunshine and scenery. It is very suitable for self-driving. There is a viewing platform on the roof of the restaurant, which is safe and can see the whole city. beautiful scenery
