The location is fantastic – just 20 meters from the Medborgarplatsen metro station (green line) and about a 10-minute walk from the Södra commuter train station!
The staff were very friendly, especially a gentleman in the restaurant. I stayed in a windowless room, but the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I slept very well! Even though it's on the second basement level, there was no musty smell or ventilation issues.
The only minor drawback was the frequent Wi-Fi disconnections, probably because it's underground.
I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Stockholm!

Location is close to Stockholm centrum. Getting to and from the hotel by car was easy. Few parking spots at the hotel, expensive too. The breakfast became boring after a few days since there was not that much to choose from. Mall in walking distance, lots of stores to explore. All in all, ok experience, but not awed.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right above the central station, with direct subway access to the airport and other areas. You can essentially catch any subway line from here.
Just a few steps away, you'll find the famous Clara Church, and there are malls nearby as well. It's in the heart of the city's CBD, very lively, and you can find anything you need.
The hotel rooms are good, especially considering it's a spa bed hotel in the Nordic region... this is the most normal room you'll find 😂. It's a king-size bed room with a shower and toiletries included. However, there are no slippers or toothbrushes.

The hotel maintains the usual Radisson standard. However, its location is quite far from the airport. Although there's a free shuttle bus, finding the bus stop as a first-time visitor at the airport can be a bit challenging.

Marco Lau1234This time during my visit to Stockholm, I stayed at Generator Stockholm, and my overall experience was very satisfying. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Sweden.
Firstly, the hotel's location is extremely convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest metro station, making it easy to get to, whether you're checking in with luggage or heading out for daily sightseeing. There are also supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes nearby, providing excellent amenities. Getting to all the major attractions in central Stockholm is quick and easy, which is especially convenient for independent travelers.
What impressed me most was the hotel's community atmosphere and quality of service. The staff were friendly and welcoming; they were always happy to help with check-in, transportation information, or recommendations for local attractions, making guests feel right at home. The hotel frequently hosts social events, which are great for travelers from all over the world to meet each other. This is particularly suitable for backpackers or solo travelers looking to easily make new friends and experience an international travel atmosphere.
The room also exceeded my expectations. It was spacious and comfortable, without the cramped feeling often found in youth hostels. The room design was simple yet stylish, and it was kept very clean. The beds were comfortable, ensuring excellent sleep quality. Whether it was a dorm room or a private room, there was ample space, making for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The bathrooms and public areas were also very well maintained, giving peace of mind.
In addition, the hotel's common areas are uniquely designed. The lobby has a fashionable and vibrant atmosphere with comfortable lounging areas, perfect for chatting with friends, working on a laptop, or simply relaxing. The Wi-Fi speed was stable, which is very convenient for guests who need to work online or plan their itinerary.
Overall, Generator Stockholm excels in terms of location, service, environment, facilities, and the overall accommodation experience. It offers high-quality accommodation at a reasonable price, coupled with a warm and friendly service team and comfortable, spacious rooms, which made the entire trip more enjoyable. If you're planning a trip to Stockholm, whether for a short stopover or a longer stay, I highly recommend choosing this hotel. I believe you'll have a comfortable, convenient, and memorable stay, just like I did.

I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Gangtou1973The hotel is very conveniently located close to Train Stations 41 and 40, falling within the 'Small' transport card zone. The nearby palace is worth a visit if you have some free time. However, upon checking in, a man who appeared to be Indian opened our room door, claiming he was there to perform a hygiene check. My daughter and I were absolutely terrified; it was horrifying. This clearly demonstrates a serious management oversight. Fortunately, we weren't changing clothes at the time. For the rest of our stay, we kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on our door.

Shanghai based coupleI stayed here with my mom who is from Sweden and is 79 years old but was travelling from the UK where she now lives. We were visiting family, both in and around Stockholm. This was an important trip for her, and me and we really needed it to go well.
Given such high expectations and unusual requirements because of my mom’s her age, we were really surprised by how well this hotel delivered and absolutely delighted with our stay.
The location was flawless and allowed her to see and do things nearby unassisted, while also allowing us to use the train from the main train station 5 minutes away to go to a nearby town, as well as within walking distance to meet her old school friends in a quintessentially Swedish coffee shop in the centre of town.
Breakfast was very authentically Swedish, but it was a bit odd that they didn’t have limpa bread. Otherwise an excellent selection of Scandinavian food that was delicious and filling. The view to the Stadshuset (Stoholm’s City Hall) where the majority of the Nobel prizes are given out from in the restaurant was really charming.
The rooms were spacious and finished to a really high standard.
The service and the staff were fantastic, including Marcus who met us at the door and helped with out bags, as well as Hannah and George. We cannot thank the whole team enough for thoughtful and awesome work to make such an important trip so memorable, easy and enjoyable.

Guest UserThe hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent central location, making it easy and convenient to explore the city. The area feels very safe, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. However, considering the premium price, it was disappointing that the room lacked even basic amenities such as tissues and a mini fridge—features that are standard in most decent hotels. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its outstanding location, safety, and service, but I hope they improve the in-room facilities to better match the price they charge.

Ett hem was part of the reason that we came to Stockholm!! We were very excited to come stay here as we have heard such great things from friends.
The whole concept is that it’s a home, and it really did feel like that! It felt as though we were staying at a friends home, where we can roam around all of the shared areas and spend time anywhere, in the living room, lounges, library, garden etc. The space was designed by a famous interior designer. Our room was an attic room that was quite beautiful. We also opted to have dinner at the house; the menu changes daily depending on what the chef orders in, and on our night it was delicious. We also used their spa room / sauna which was very enjoyable.
My only comment is that while the staff were all very friendly and nice, they were not always available to be found. At times I would need something and go to the main check in counter and there wouldn’t be anyone there, and I would have to roam around the house looking for someone. Same goes for the entrance. You have to ring the bell every time you come back to Ett Hem and on a few occasions, no one answered the door bell or they answered but didn’t follow up / open the door / or come to get us. I understand it’s a part of the casual home feel, but for a luxury hotel I would have preferred a little more availability…
Great stay overall though!!
