We stayed at the Yanzhi Hotel at Xi'an Yongning Gate with our child this time, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the foot of the Yongning Gate city wall. You can touch history just by crossing the road, and taking an evening stroll on the city wall to watch the sunset felt amazing.
The front desk service was friendly and efficient; they proactively asked about our child's needs during check-in. The facilities are new, and the room was clean and bright, making us feel very secure staying with our child. The biggest surprise was at check-out; not only was the process quick, but the staff also specially gave our child a lovely little gift, which made our little one so happy.
For families with children, this is an excellent starting point for exploring the ancient city. The service is thoughtful, the details are well-executed, and it's highly recommended. The only downside is that the hotel's airport transfer service is a bit disappointing. Regardless of how many days you stay or what room type you book, the transfer is only free for two people, and children are charged extra!

Xi'an Hesu Hotel is absolutely divine! A hidden gem with incredible attention to detail for an amazing stay.
The location is truly superb, just a 10-minute walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, and super close to Muslim Street and Yongning Gate City Wall. You won't have to go out of your way at all to visit attractions or enjoy delicious food. Downstairs, there are lively snack stalls everywhere, making getting around incredibly convenient.
But I especially want to rave about the room experience! The King Koil mattress paired with a zero-pressure pillow was just the right firmness.
And the service? Absolutely impeccable! After booking, I received a call from the staff who proactively helped me reserve a parking spot. Upon arrival, everyone greeted me with a warm smile throughout my stay. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly patient and helpful~

The hotel is very good, the ceiling is very high, I haven't had a good sleep for a long time, it's very quiet, the scenery outside is super good, the hotel is a big building, and the swimming pool is also very good! Everything is good, but it is recommended that the hotel can write a small description of the hotel facilities and restaurants and various services in a more obvious place in the room, such as the breakfast time, the swimming pool location opening hours, so that we don't have to call the front desk all the time.

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance.
The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service.
Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained.
Best hotel in the city for sure.

This is my second time visiting Xi'an, and I chose this hotel again. The environment, cleanliness, and service are all excellent. The staff even escorted us all the way to our room and prepared some snacks, which was a really thoughtful touch. There are plenty of food stalls downstairs, and the Qin Yu Roujiamo (meat burger) is absolutely fantastic. It's also super convenient for sightseeing and getting around. A big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk for the complimentary gift. I received service that even 5-star hotels don't offer, making this trip truly worthwhile. A fantastic hotel indeed! 👍👍👍

Stepping into the Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel felt like being instantly transported back to the glorious Tang Dynasty. The hotel is built into the hillside, seamlessly blending with the Huaqing Palace ruins. Its black bricks, grey tiles, and upturned eaves everywhere exude a rich Tang-dynasty charm. Upon check-in, staff dressed in traditional Tang attire offered warm welcoming tea, and their meticulous service made us feel truly valued.
The guest rooms perfectly combine Tang culture with modern comfort. The antique-style furniture is elegant and exquisite, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The most delightful surprise, however, was the private natural hot spring bath right in the room. Sourced from the ancient springs at the foot of Mount Li, the water is smooth and rich in various minerals. Enjoying this luxury in a private setting instantly washed away all travel fatigue. At night, gazing at the starry sky from the balcony and listening to the wind in the mountains, it felt as though I could hear echoes of history.
The hotel's exclusive 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service was undoubtedly the highlight of this stay. From hair and makeup to clothing, a professional team meticulously created full Tang-style looks for us. The makeup artist's techniques were delicate, and both the hair accessories and makeup aimed to authentically recreate the splendor of the Tang Dynasty. Donning the gorgeous Tang-era Hanfu, we instantly transformed into characters from a painting.
Our photographer was not only highly skilled but also deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of Huaqing Palace. He guided us through pavilions, terraces, and hot spring pools, choosing the best lighting and angles to perfectly blend the beauty of Mount Li with our poses. Whether it was the languid charm of a concubine bathing or the classic elegance of gazing into the distance from a railing, each photo was like a beautiful ancient-style scroll, immortalizing our Tang Dynasty memories. The entire photoshoot was relaxed and enjoyable, and the results far exceeded our expectations.
Summary: A dual feast for body, mind, and culture.
The Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel is not just a place to stay; it's an immersive cultural experience. It nourishes the body and mind with ancient hot springs, infuses the soul with the splendor of the Tang Dynasty, and then uses the 'Jinghong Travel Photography' to eternally capture these unique memories. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a hot spring lover, or a traveler seeking a unique experience, this is an unmissable and perfect choice for your Xi'an trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who yearns for the elegance of the Tang Dynasty!

This was my first time visiting Xi'an, and after much deliberation, I booked a stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Xi'an, Bell Tower – and it definitely didn't disappoint! The location is superb, and the hotel service was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to Oliver and Mandy at the front desk. Oliver was efficient and professional with the check-in process and incredibly patient in answering all my questions. Mandy, on the other hand, was attentive to our overall stay experience, proactively helped us plan our itinerary around the Bell Tower, and even gave us thoughtful weather reminders. Their excellent service truly made our trip so much more enjoyable. This is definitely the quality you'd expect from a Four Points by Sheraton!
This is my third visit to Mount Hua, and I once again decisively chose the Shaanxi Geo-building Nanshan Huashan Hot Spring Hotel. The experience was even better than before! It's a direct 1.5-hour drive from Xi'an, and the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, with air so fresh it's incredibly relaxing. The hot spring room I booked was a wonderful surprise – the private hot spring courtyard was secluded and quiet. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the distant mountains made my fatigue vanish instantly.
The room facilities were complete, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant fragrance, showing quality in every detail. The staff were particularly enthusiastic; they actively helped us with our luggage and even recommended a less-traveled hiking route for Mount Hua, helping us avoid the crowds. For dinner, we ate Shaanxi cuisine at the hotel restaurant. The Gourd Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the Mount Hua wild vegetables were refreshing and delicious. The value for money was excellent.
The hotel's location is convenient, and there are also local orchards nearby where you can pick fruit, making it perfect for a leisurely vacation. I've already recommended it to my friends, and it will definitely be my go-to place whenever I visit Mount Hua in the future!

This is an excellent hotel. The location is good, but since the city is large, you still need to travel by taxi. The main attractions in the city are close to the hotel. We booked a standard room, but received an upgraded option – a two-room suite on the 5th floor, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The room had a comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. A major drawback was the terrible view from the window. The view was of a dilapidated inner courtyard and a neighboring building, so it was impossible to open the curtains. The service was excellent. Despite the staff having some difficulties with English, it didn't hinder communication. The breakfast was excellent, everything was delicious and varied – mainly Chinese cuisine, but also European options. We were very satisfied with our choice of hotel.
Service: The front desk service was professional yet friendly, and the staff were very polite.
Environment: The hotel's internal environment was very clean.
Cleanliness: The bathroom was very new, with marble decor, clean, and no unpleasant odors.
Facilities: The elevator was clean and convenient.
Transportation: It's right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Line 2, which is incredibly convenient. Across the street, there's the Qinfeng shuttle bus that connects to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, costing 30 RMB per person, including a guide – very convenient.
Summary: The hotel is right outside Longshouyuan subway station, making it very easy to get to popular attractions like the Bell Tower and Xi'an City Wall. The room design is also clever, with a wet and dry separation in the bathroom, which is convenient for multiple people getting ready. The breakfast includes many local specialties, such as Biangbiang noodles and Saqqara noodles, allowing guests from out of town to better understand the city. It was a great experience! Thanks to Lucky for patiently answering our questions and providing assistance. Thank you 😊

Mmomo_01Staying at this hotel near Xi'an's Bell Tower was truly a gem! This quiet, dedicated, and wonderful hotel deserves to be recognized. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped by the sweet aroma of roasted sweet potatoes, instantly warming my heart. In the evening, the fireplace flickers, creating an incredibly atmospheric ambiance – every photo I took looked like a movie still. The rooftop pool bar at night was an unexpected delight! The afternoon tea was exquisite and delicious, and the service staff were so gentle and attentive. The room was spotlessly clean. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Xi'an. MM20241****Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance.
Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face.
This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.

GGuest UserI was so pleasantly surprised to find such a great hotel at this price point!
The location, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. It's super convenient to walk to the Bell and Drum Tower and the Muslim Quarter, and both the subway and bus are easily accessible.
The service was warm and attentive; they were always ready to help and even proactively offered assistance.
The rooms are disinfected for each new guest, spotless, and odorless, with excellent soundproofing. Plus, with free airport pickup and various activities like breakfast tastings, it's an incredible value for money.
LL. LimJoke Inn's location is phenomenal - right in the heart of Xi'an with the Centre Art & Culture right on the Shuyuanmen Walking Lane behind, Beilin Museum a stone's throw away and the YongNing Entrance to the Xi'an Wall right in front of the museum!
Location aside, the different room configurations are really charming - adding to the joy of living amidst Chinese Heritage buildings. The Heating is superb for winter too. Our family of 4 (2 teens) have been enjoying the comfort of our room, spending family time together in the room rather than simply zipping in and out of the typical standard hotels - if getting 2 queen beds is even possible these days. Spending a day in doesn't feel wasted!
The service staff here are warm, helpful and more like family friends than service staff. We are returning to Joke Inn the next time we're in Xi'an... And will recommend Joke Inn to families wanting to travel in comfort.
Thank you!!

AAnonymous UserI stumbled upon 'Backpackers Ten Years' and, out of curiosity, booked a stay. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The location is superb, it's clean and hygienic, and the facilities are excellent! They even have dorm rooms, which are very quiet and not noisy at all. There's a washing machine and dryer, plus a large common area with a pool table and reading nooks where everyone gathers and has fun – it was a very pleasant surprise! A twin room was only 136 yuan! I honestly didn't have high hopes, but for this price, these facilities, and this location in Xi'an, what more could you ask for?!

Man Xin Changanli Hotel Xi'an Bell tower was a gorgeous and modern hotel. The room was beautifully designed in warm colors and there was plenty of seating area--including a cute little tatami sitting area. The windows were floor-to-ceiling, with automatic curtains that move with a slight tug. The staff were very friendly. The view outside the window is an interesting picture of the city wall, but it wasn't very pretty--just the brick wall and little bit of the events on the top. The beds were too firm for me, but I'm used to softer beds. My friend said it was fine for her though.
Despite how beautiful the room is, I would not stay there again. The temperature in the room would not go below 29c, even with the air conditioner turned on. When asked if they could come fix the A/C, the staff said this room was more ”natural” and people don't really use it, so there wasn't anything they could do. We had to open the windows to keep cool. Additionally, the air conditioner was so loud that when I first heard it, I thought someone was rolling a cart down the cobblestones outside the hotel window. It was almost as loud as the construction happening directly outside our window.
Speaking of the construction, it didn't start until 7 or 8 pm at night and went through until 3-4am. Couldn’t close the window without turning the room into a hotbox, so it was extremely noisy between the sounds of the machinery and the workers shouting over it. I'm a light sleeper, so it was nearly impossible to sleep.
Between the heat, the noise from the air conditioner, and the noise from the construction, I got almost no sleep during my three day stay. So it's a lovely hotel, but it's too noisy and uncomfortable.
SSéverine SCHAEFFERNice huge room near Xi’an railway (25 mn walking) and big wall. The room was at level minus 1. Very modern and spacious enough for two, very good mattress and nice bathroom. Excellent service from the little brother and good Illy brand coffee. What I would have appreciate : a teapot with cups inside the room (possibility to ask for hot water at the bar upstairs). Best aerator: smelt tobacco and humidity. Street food in the area but need to walk, not easy for breakfast. These apart we liked the place and really appreciated the good willingness of the staff.
