Weekend train trek to BaoJi from Xi’an. It’s a very walkable city, and there are bikes all around. Crowne Plaza has a nice longe on the 40th Floor. It is next to a mall, and adjacent to the theater. The park nearby stretches to the historically designed walking bridge into Chencang Old Street (I suggest folk music bar next to Panda Aquarium/BaoJi Station display).
Crowne has nice views and comfortable rooms. Staff is bilingual and everything is clean. Of the Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, this one is maintained well.

The Elegant Hotel in Xi'an was by far our favourite stay in China. The hotel is gorgeously decorated in the traditional Tang style while still being super modern, clean and equipped with high quality amenities (not to mention the complimentary afternoon tea and late-night bowl of noodles).
The service was absolutely outstanding, with every staff member going above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. A special shout out to 瑞妮 for looking after us so well, down to personally escorting us to our room and giving us a goodbye souvenir gift.
Being in the heart of Xi'an, we also had the most amazing view of the Bell Tower from our room windows. Highly highly recommend, we can't wait to come back again soon!

This hotel offers excellent value for money and a superb location. It's right outside the Bell Tower subway exit, and just a five-minute walk to the Bell and Drum Towers. There's a snack street conveniently located downstairs.
The hotel facilities are all new and very clean.
One of the front desk staff members was incredibly kind; she helped us upgrade to a room with fantastic sunlight and even sent up some Babaozhou (eight-treasure porridge) in the evening.
The breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring many Shaanxi specialties. Liangpi, Saozi Noodles, Youpo Noodles, Beef Noodles, Roujiamo, and Zenggao were all available and tasted excellent. Most dishes seemed to be freshly made in-house, with very few pre-made items, showing great care and effort.
All the staff throughout the hotel were wonderfully friendly. I will definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

This was my second trip to Xi'an, and I discovered this newly opened Four Points by Sheraton hotel. The front desk staff member who checked us in was exceptionally helpful and even upgraded our room for free. The hotel's location is fantastic – downstairs, there's a KFC, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and several roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) vendors. Plus, it's very close to the Muslim Quarter. Xi'an is an ancient capital of 13 dynasties, and I'll definitely choose Four Points by Sheraton again for my next in-depth visit!
This is my third visit to Mount Hua, and I once again decisively chose the Shaanxi Geo-building Nanshan Huashan Hot Spring Hotel. The experience was even better than before! It's a direct 1.5-hour drive from Xi'an, and the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, with air so fresh it's incredibly relaxing. The hot spring room I booked was a wonderful surprise – the private hot spring courtyard was secluded and quiet. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the distant mountains made my fatigue vanish instantly.
The room facilities were complete, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant fragrance, showing quality in every detail. The staff were particularly enthusiastic; they actively helped us with our luggage and even recommended a less-traveled hiking route for Mount Hua, helping us avoid the crowds. For dinner, we ate Shaanxi cuisine at the hotel restaurant. The Gourd Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the Mount Hua wild vegetables were refreshing and delicious. The value for money was excellent.
The hotel's location is convenient, and there are also local orchards nearby where you can pick fruit, making it perfect for a leisurely vacation. I've already recommended it to my friends, and it will definitely be my go-to place whenever I visit Mount Hua in the future!

This is an excellent hotel. The location is good, but since the city is large, you still need to travel by taxi. The main attractions in the city are close to the hotel. We booked a standard room, but received an upgraded option – a two-room suite on the 5th floor, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The room had a comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. A major drawback was the terrible view from the window. The view was of a dilapidated inner courtyard and a neighboring building, so it was impossible to open the curtains. The service was excellent. Despite the staff having some difficulties with English, it didn't hinder communication. The breakfast was excellent, everything was delicious and varied – mainly Chinese cuisine, but also European options. We were very satisfied with our choice of hotel.

Service: Upon arrival, the staff were very welcoming and proactively upgraded our room. Seeing that we had a child, they even gave us a small snack.
Facilities: The room was very spacious and was a children's room. All the room's facilities were relatively new, and the TV was large. The curtains were also smart.
Hygiene: Very clean. Every day after we went out, someone tidied up the room.
Location: Inside the ancient city. It's very close to the Bell Tower and Kaiyuan Mall. Taking a taxi to Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Wall, etc., isn't far at all.

Came with my dad but I wish I had brought all my friends and family so they could all experience this amazing accomodation!! Absolutely fantastic experience here, I could not recommend it more! This place is incredibly foreigner friendly with quite a few staff who can speak English and the amenities are beyond outstanding. Even for foreigners who know a fair bit of Chinese like me, it was so easy to talk to all the staff and I felt so at ease. Every picture I took made me think I was nestled in the forests of Japan. From the rooftop gardens, to the tea rooms, to the front communal space, and personal rooms, everything is curated to perfection and tech filled to the max! Expect vintage stereos, vinyl players and projectors at every communal area! All the staff are so friendly and create the welcoming community energy that tremendously enriches your experience in Xi’an. There is also a pub opposite the road for complimentary happy hours, communal hot pots and dumpling making on different nights! I cannot wait to recommend this hotel to everyone I know, and I am beyond excited to bring my family and friends back here!

The hotel boasts a great location, making it very convenient for getting around. Our entire stay, from check-in to check-out, was fantastic. The room had excellent natural light, and from our side, we had a view of the city wall. Our deluxe twin room was spacious, well-equipped with toiletries, and spotlessly clean, even in the hard-to-reach corners. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff were always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend!

Xi'an Hesu Hotel is absolutely divine! A hidden gem with incredible attention to detail for an amazing stay.
The location is truly superb, just a 10-minute walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, and super close to Muslim Street and Yongning Gate City Wall. You won't have to go out of your way at all to visit attractions or enjoy delicious food. Downstairs, there are lively snack stalls everywhere, making getting around incredibly convenient.
But I especially want to rave about the room experience! The King Koil mattress paired with a zero-pressure pillow was just the right firmness.
And the service? Absolutely impeccable! After booking, I received a call from the staff who proactively helped me reserve a parking spot. Upon arrival, everyone greeted me with a warm smile throughout my stay. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly patient and helpful~

詠詠詠許The moment we stepped out of the elevator, a delightful aroma greeted us, leading us into the elegant lobby on the 16th floor. The decor here is tasteful and the atmosphere refined. Several friendly and professional front desk ladies provided excellent service during our check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with all kinds of amenities and toiletries. The bed was wonderfully soft, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. Even the bathtub water temperature was just right, making bath time especially enjoyable. The hotel's location is near the Drum Tower, with a variety of restaurants in the vicinity. This is our top choice for a trip to Xi'an, and we will definitely return to this warm and wonderful place in the future! Every penny spent was worth it – the lavish breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea and late-night snacks, and the memorable red wine at the rooftop bar! I truly wish we had booked a few more nights! Many thanks to all the lovely ladies and gentlemen for their warm hospitality! 🌹

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with my three-day stay.
1. **Location & Transportation**: Super convenient! The hotel is right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2 (which runs north to south). It offers direct access to Xi'an North Station (high-speed rail station).
2. **Environment & Hygiene**: The hotel lobby, hallways, elevators, and other common areas were clean and well-maintained.
3. **Room Facilities**: Personally, I was very pleased. It reminded me of a Shangri-La hotel in Chengdu. What I found particularly cozy was that the key card always stayed in, keeping the room temperature constant. I forgot to bring pajamas for this trip, so I slept in the hotel's bathrobe, which was clean, soft, and comfortable.
4. **Service Attitude**: When booking online, there were thoughtful options, such as being able to choose a quiet room further from the elevator. Check-in at the hotel was quick, and when I asked where the elevator was, someone immediately responded. At breakfast, staff members were very proactive in helping guests find seats.
5. **Bedding & Sleep**: Clean, tidy, and comfortable.
6. **Dining & Breakfast**: We opted for the double breakfast, which was quite extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties like beef Shui Pen and beef Pao Mo (I had this every single day! 😋). I especially loved their yogurt and made my own yogurt fruit bowls for three consecutive mornings. 😃
7. **Value for Money**: In summary, I believe it offers excellent value.
MM526509****I really loved this guesthouse! The rooms were clean, and the service was excellent; everyone was so kind. The cats, Jinli and Caicai, were incredibly well-behaved. The location is super convenient – the subway exit is right there, and Huaqing Palace is across the street. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' at night, it's just a quick walk across the road! The breakfast was delicious, and the lady who made it was so sweet. If I ever get the chance to come back, I'll definitely choose this place again.

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the subway and a shopping district, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to assist. The room itself was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was exceptional – even the window sills were spotless. What really impressed me was the excellent soundproofing; I didn't hear a single noise at night and had a very peaceful sleep.
LL. LimJoke Inn's location is phenomenal - right in the heart of Xi'an with the Centre Art & Culture right on the Shuyuanmen Walking Lane behind, Beilin Museum a stone's throw away and the YongNing Entrance to the Xi'an Wall right in front of the museum!
Location aside, the different room configurations are really charming - adding to the joy of living amidst Chinese Heritage buildings. The Heating is superb for winter too. Our family of 4 (2 teens) have been enjoying the comfort of our room, spending family time together in the room rather than simply zipping in and out of the typical standard hotels - if getting 2 queen beds is even possible these days. Spending a day in doesn't feel wasted!
The service staff here are warm, helpful and more like family friends than service staff. We are returning to Joke Inn the next time we're in Xi'an... And will recommend Joke Inn to families wanting to travel in comfort.
Thank you!!

MMr DukicLocated just few meters from Bell tower, entrance is a bit tucked away ( left from mobile phone store is entrance next to some delivery boxes, take a lift to 3rd floor where reception is. You’ll get slippers and locker to leave your shoes.
I’ve stayed in shared 4 bedroom, pod was huge, I’m 6,2 and I could sit up without hitting my head. You get locker in the room but you can’t store large items , only underseat size bag or small backpack. WiFi is descent, toilets and showers clean, as entire hostel in general, laundry and dryer available , nice communal space.
I would definitely stay here again .
VvioletjudyIt's been years since I last enjoyed the hot springs at this hotel, and the environment is still exceptional. Located right next to the Huaqing Palace, it boasts authentic sulfur hot springs. We booked a room with a private hot spring, which was incredibly convenient. We could soak anytime after returning from our evening activities, offering great privacy.
**Hotel Facilities:** While some of the wooden furniture in the room showed signs of age and slight decay, it wasn't a major issue. The outdoor greenery and the hotel's hardscape are excellent, making it a great spot for photos.
**Dining:** The complimentary buffet breakfast was incredibly rich! As expected from a city known for its carbs, there were so many steamed dim sum and noodle dishes that I wanted to try them all. I specifically had a bowl of Youcha (oil tea) with Mahua (fried dough twists), something I hadn't eaten in nearly 20 years – it brought back so many memories.
**Hot Springs:** Compared to my visit in 2018, there are now more hot spring pools, including new carbonated springs. They offer an abundant selection of complimentary sweets and fruits, and there's also a bar in the middle of the pools, so you can enjoy fruit while soaking – a nice touch. For the private hot springs in the rooms, staff come to fill the tub every evening at 7 PM, so you can just come back from your day out and hop right in. So convenient!
We also received a complimentary solo travel photography session. The photographer from Jinghong Travel Photography and the makeup artist were very professional. We were lucky to be wearing newly arrived outfits, which were absolutely stunning. The photos taken on location at Huaqing Palace turned out fantastic, and we were very satisfied.
If you plan to see 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, the hotel provides dedicated staff to guide and transport you in the evening, which is very thoughtful.
Our day was packed with activities and very fulfilling. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends in the future.

MM563160****A quiet hotel in a busy city, with warm front desk service and a great environment. You can go to the 4th floor of the hotel to see the city wall. After a tiring day, the housekeeper also gave me a foot bath bucket and medicine bag 👍👍👍 Very considerate
