Weekend train trek to BaoJi from Xi’an. It’s a very walkable city, and there are bikes all around. Crowne Plaza has a nice longe on the 40th Floor. It is next to a mall, and adjacent to the theater. The park nearby stretches to the historically designed walking bridge into Chencang Old Street (I suggest folk music bar next to Panda Aquarium/BaoJi Station display).
Crowne has nice views and comfortable rooms. Staff is bilingual and everything is clean. Of the Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, this one is maintained well.

The Yazi Hotel at Xi'an Bell Tower Yongning Gate was an amazing experience! The location is superb, within walking distance of the Bell Tower, Yongning Gate, and the city wall. Stepping out, you're right in the core scenic area, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms have an elegant Tang Dynasty style, are clean and tidy, with smart amenities that work well, and comfortable bedding for a peaceful sleep. Some room types even offer direct views of the city wall at night, which is absolutely stunning. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was plentiful, including local specialty snacks. It’s quiet despite being in a bustling area—the environment is peaceful and not noisy. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Staying here in Xi'an allows you to experience the charm of the ancient capital while enjoying comfort and convenience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located at No. 16 Anban Street, offering an excellent location with a comprehensive range of amenities nearby, including large shopping malls, convenience stores, and numerous restaurants featuring Xi'an specialties. It's also very close to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower – just a short walk to the right after exiting the hotel. What's more, there's a direct bus to the Terracotta Warriors right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel rooms are clean, and the service is great. I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Xi'an.

1. The hotel is very new, clean, and the service is excellent.
2. We booked a room facing the courtyard, and it was very quiet at night.
3. It's super convenient to get to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter.
4. Downstairs, you can find KFC, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, Roujiamo, Biangbiang noodles, and Lamb Pao Mo – extremely convenient!
5. A few small suggestions: Please add a small trash can next to the sink, make the air conditioning able to cool (the room was a bit warm), and add a retractable clothesline to the balcony. If these were implemented, it would be absolutely perfect. Happy New Year to all the staff!
We were in this hotel 2 days. Breakfast was very tasty, Chinese and European food and drinks. The staff is very friendly. They helped me with all the requests we had.
We visited the hot springs and were very pleased, the temperature was from 30 to 50 degrees, with various additives inside: herbs, fruits and even wine. I also visited gym, its simple but functional.
I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit this city and enjoy good service.

This was my first time staying at the Hilton in Xi'an, and I was really impressed. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to Yongxingfang and the City Wall, and within walking distance of a subway station. The decor has a grand, traditional Chinese style; although it shows a bit of age, it's meticulously clean and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast spread was also excellent, with plenty of local specialties. This hotel is definitely ideal for tourists, and I'd prioritize staying at the Hilton again if I return to Xi'an.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Luomashi Pedestrian Street. It's just a few minutes' walk to the metro station, making it super convenient to get to all the popular attractions. The room itself is modern and cozy, with a great separate shower and toilet, and the bedding is so soft and comfortable – I slept incredibly well! The service is warm and efficient; they personally guided me to my room when I checked in and even prepared some thoughtful snacks. Excellent value for money! This is an amazing choice for any traveler. 😊😊

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! This is probably the most luxurious hostel we have ever visited and we loved every part of it. Rooms are classy, clean and silent. Breakfast is a varied mix of Western and Eastern standards. Staff is super helpful and proficient in English.
After our flight got cancelled, we immediately booked an extra night and we were genuinely happy to stay one more night!

The location is fantastic, right next to the subway entrance, about a 5 to 10-minute walk away. If you turn left when you exit, there's a street called Zhenxing Road with lots of great food options. It's also very close to the Muslim Quarter, roughly one or two kilometers away. The hotel has its own free underground parking, which is super convenient. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything!

Location: The hotel is located south of the city center. There's a bus stop right outside, making it quite convenient to get to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter.
Facilities: The lobby and reception area have an artistic vibe, showing a clear effort in creating a pleasant atmosphere. The mattress was great and comfortable, but the pillow was uncomfortable and gave me a stiff neck.
Cleanliness: It was alright. Everything being black made it hard to tell if it was dirty or clean.
Service: Make sure to use the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, otherwise, the staff will knock on your door early every morning, which is incredibly annoying. However, if you leave without pressing 'Make Up Room', it definitely won't get cleaned.
Also, the more expensive 'Superior King Room' is actually far less comfortable than the cheaper 'Comfort Deep Sleep Room'.
The last picture shows a rip-off tobacco shop in the Muslim Quarter. Avoid it at all costs! They charge double the price of outside shops, clearly targeting tourists!

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, close to the Drum Tower, City Wall, and Muslim Quarter, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy walking. Despite being in a bustling area, our high-floor room offered a great view of the Drum Tower from the top floor, which was a wonderful touch. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The front desk service was incredibly friendly. The hotel also features a tea room and a laundry room, offering convenient amenities. While there aren't many rooms, this adds to a strong sense of privacy. The lobby and corridors exude a pleasant aroma, creating a fantastic ambiance. I'll definitely be returning! 👍

AAnonymous UserStaying here was super convenient, with a subway entrance right outside – getting around was an absolute breeze and stress-free. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring authentic Xi'an specialties. The Roujiamo (meat burger) tasted incredibly genuine, and the dry-tossed noodles (Saozi Mian) were delicious. The spread was also very rich, making for a truly satisfying meal. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and they even provided a city map. The entire experience was fantastic!
GGuest UserFacilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance.
Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face.
This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.
GGuest UserMy stay this time was exceptionally comfortable! The hotel's location is perfect, making it convenient for both getting around and shopping. The room was clean and elegant, with complete and fully functioning facilities. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The staff were warm, attentive, and responded promptly. The breakfast was rich and delicious, offering excellent value for money. It's definitely a place worth staying at again and again!

BBeatingUpwindThis is a difficult review to write. There’s a lot I like about Joke Inn - it’s in a cool location, the room was nice, and the staff are friendly. And I should mention - I don’t have experience with the inner, courtyard facing rooms - this is just about street-facing rooms….
I saw the reviews talking about noise and figured it was just normal street noise - which as a New Yorker I’m fine with. But what we experienced was FAR beyond regular street noise. We had a room facing the street (and the Xi’an city wall) and the issue is that there are two live music venues on the ground floor that compete by blasting the music - which bounces off the city wall into the room. The music goes until 2am every night (not just weekends). The earplugs they give you don’t even begin to be enough. After getting just 4 hours of sleep the first night I managed the next 3 nights by taking a sleeping pill and wearing huge uncomfortable noise canceling headphones. That should never be necessary in a hotel.
So the bottom line in my opinion is the owners need to figure out if they’re in the entertainment business or the hotel business because the two don’t mix - at least not for the street-facing rooms.

MM420125****This is a standardized hostel, with every detail meticulously thought out – a very mature commercial product. However, the quality of guests is hard to control. Even though it's off-season, the restrooms weren't very clean, and there was trash and an unpleasant smell (understandable for a commercial building with less ventilation) throughout the common areas. Plus, I noticed a girl smoking in the restroom (the innermost stall reeked of smoke). On the bright side, the blankets and shower rooms were quite warm, even better than a 3-star hotel I stayed in later. It also has a strong social atmosphere, making it suitable for young travelers on a budget.

GGuest UserI rarely leave reviews, but today I'm making an exception to give everyone a reference. I've had the Huaqing Yutang Hot Spring Hotel on my radar for a long time, and I finally visited this week – it was absolutely worth the trip.
First, the location: it's inside the Huaqing Pool 5A scenic area. This is a five-star hotel with five-star service. You get to enjoy the same hot spring water as the imperial concubines! I tried the private bath; it was well-sanitized, the water quality was excellent, and bathing was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Sipping on the snow pear and tremella soup provided by the hotel made it even more delightful!
Next, staying at the hotel includes unlimited access to Huaqing Pool, which is a fantastic value. We also used the complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel to take photos in the scenic area – the results were stunning! The travel photography is definitely a major bonus for this hotel. The makeup artist was quick and skilled, and the photographer's follow-up shots were superb. The final photos were as good as those from a professional studio! We received three complimentary photos, all beautiful, and I even purchased a few more to keep as a lovely souvenir for my family. Thumbs up to the photography team!
Finally, let's talk about the hotel facilities: free parking and a shuttle service that comes whenever you call – how many hotels can offer that? The interior decor of the hotel is excellent. There's a book bar with high-quality books; I was amazed to find a complete set of 'Jieziyuan Huapu' (The Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting) there. This truly is a quality vacation!
Highly recommended!

Man Xin Changanli Hotel Xi'an Bell tower was a gorgeous and modern hotel. The room was beautifully designed in warm colors and there was plenty of seating area--including a cute little tatami sitting area. The windows were floor-to-ceiling, with automatic curtains that move with a slight tug. The staff were very friendly. The view outside the window is an interesting picture of the city wall, but it wasn't very pretty--just the brick wall and little bit of the events on the top. The beds were too firm for me, but I'm used to softer beds. My friend said it was fine for her though.
Despite how beautiful the room is, I would not stay there again. The temperature in the room would not go below 29c, even with the air conditioner turned on. When asked if they could come fix the A/C, the staff said this room was more ”natural” and people don't really use it, so there wasn't anything they could do. We had to open the windows to keep cool. Additionally, the air conditioner was so loud that when I first heard it, I thought someone was rolling a cart down the cobblestones outside the hotel window. It was almost as loud as the construction happening directly outside our window.
Speaking of the construction, it didn't start until 7 or 8 pm at night and went through until 3-4am. Couldn’t close the window without turning the room into a hotbox, so it was extremely noisy between the sounds of the machinery and the workers shouting over it. I'm a light sleeper, so it was nearly impossible to sleep.
Between the heat, the noise from the air conditioner, and the noise from the construction, I got almost no sleep during my three day stay. So it's a lovely hotel, but it's too noisy and uncomfortable.
