Pretty standard, nothing special. Didn't get to have breakfast because I left too early. The room was really small, and the bathroom didn't have a separate shower and toilet area. But honestly, this is probably one of the better hotels in town.

(📍) Location: 6 kilometers from the airport and 5 kilometers from Maon City, the location is slightly off. There are no big supermarkets around, and there is a small supermarket diagonally opposite to the back.
(🛀) Facilities: No toiletries, no slippers, separate bathroom, a small soap, a small refrigerator (very dirty and useless), a kettle, bottled water, the room is not small, the facilities are slightly old, the air conditioner is very cold, hot bath.
(👱♀️) Service: The front desk is two local girls, warm and thoughtful
(🍽) Food: 95 a la carte for breakfast, fried eggs, sausages, bread, beans, bacon, juice, etc. very good

The room is clean with a comfy bed and fridge, microwave and kettle. It’s about 15 minutes from the main part of town and the airport. I didn’t see any shops within walking distance but enjoyed the good on property.

AAndré_SilvaEverything exceptional. Excellent base for visiting Chobe and all associated activities. We only expected to stay to sleep, we ended up doing everything at the Lodge, from dinners to activities! They have safari jeeps, trucks and boats! Therefore, they offer a personalized, quality experience at very competitive prices when compared to agencies. The food is also exceptional, not only at the hotel, but also served at the activities. The genuine friendliness of all the staff certainly also extends to the owners, who do everything they can to make you feel good. If you're thinking of visiting Chobe Park, don't hesitate: book at River View Lodge - all you have to do is enjoy your vacation, without any other worries!

AAnonymous UserThis should be a good hotel in Maun. It is located close to Maun Airport, which is convenient for flights or sightseeing helicopters. The surrounding area is considered prosperous. There is a very good pizza restaurant nearby with moderate prices and good taste. There is also a large supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing supplies. The price of breakfast is a bit high.
