Shilin Shennong Temple

Shilin Shennong Palace - Shilin's important faith center for the ages, the architecture is beautifully carved, and the whole renovated and recently reopened to worship. Under the light of dusk, it presents a more solemn atmosphere than before.

Shilin Shennong Palace - Originally known as Zhilan Temple was founded in the Qing Kangxi period, Qing Qianlong was relocated to the current site in 6 years due to floods. It was built by Zhangzhou immigrants. It is located in the important early Zhangzhou immigrant settlement in the history of the development of the Taipei Basin. It is also an important carrier for the development of the Yiquan mechanical fighting and Shilin area.

Shilin Shennong Palace has been rebuilt many times, but still retains many old things, such as stone carving dragon columns in front of Sanchuan Palace and stone beams and stone carving windows in the temple, the long-growing glaze during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and the incense furnace during the Xianfeng period.
