Huaihai Battle Memorial Hall

In 1959, the State Council decided to build the Huaihai Battle Martyrs Memorial Tower and Huaihai Battle Memorial Hall in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, laid the foundation in 1960 and opened in 1965, covering an area of 790,000 square meters. Later, the Huaihai Battle General Committee group sculpture, Huaihai Battle Stele Forest, Xuzhou National Defense Education Hall, Xuzhou Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and other memorial buildings were built.

＂ Huaihai Battle Memorial Hall ＂ is located at No. 2 Jiefang South Road, Quanshan District, Xuzhou City. It opened in 1965 and opened in 2007. The museum has 6 parts: Preamble, Pre-war situation, Battle implementation, Battle victory, People's Front and Remembering Yinglie. The three stages of the battle as the background of the creation, with realistic artistic techniques, reproduced the vivid scene of the Huaihai battle. ＂ Huaihai Battle ＂ began on November 6, 1948 and ended on January 10, 1949. The two field armies of the People's Liberation Army in East China and Central Plains have wiped out and adapted the Kuomintang army 55.5million people. This is the three major battles in the period of the Liberation War. The PLA has sacrificed the most and has the largest number of enemies. The most politically influential campaign. ＂ Huaihai Battle Martyrs Memorial Tower ＂ was built in 1965, and the statue of the General Front Committee was built in 1996.
