The original shape of Huaxi Park began in 1787 (Qing Qianlong 52), and was built by Zhou Kui and his son. It began as a park in 1937, and in 1939, the official construction of the scenic area was approved by the Guizhou Provincial Government and was basically completed in 1940, when it was called "Zhongzheng Park". After the establishment of New China in 1949, it was officially renamed "Huaxi Park".[1] Huaxi Park is located in the Huaxi area, 17 kilometers south of Guiyang City, Guizhou, covering an area of more than 800 mu, east to Huaxi Bridge, south along Huahua Road, west to Huaxi Ping Bridge, north to Huaxi Xiaozhai. The main attractions are Music Square, Furongzhou, Baibu Bridge, Bashang Bridge, Lushan, Guishan, Songbaiyuan, Bitaoyuan, Peony Garden, Zhulianchi, Qiting, Qiyuan, Xishe, Dai Anlan General Clothes Tomb, Pingqiao, Golden Avenue, etc. [2] Huaxi Park is a famous scenic spot in Guizhou Province, known as the Pearl of Guizhou Plateau.
