Its not often you get inside a 1951 built Russian sub! This one saw good service with the Indonesian navy from 1962 and is well presented with full access other than to the conning tower. Inside, one half of the machinery has been removed to make it easier to get around but that doesnt distract from the fun of exploring. The command area is complete with attack and viewing 'scopes as well as all the dive controls. In the engine room, the head on part of one cylinders cover is removed allowing you to see the cracks etc on the powerful diesel. Great fun, would be even better with some piped sound effects! Make sure you also see the 15 min film, played on the hour at the videorama. #urbanexplorer
