Miluo River Scenic Area (汨罗江风景区)
Soak up the legendary vibes at the birthplace of the Dragon Boat Festival 🐉! Sunset here is magic—totally Insta-worthy. Address: Miluo Town, Miluo City, Hunan. Open 8:00–18:00. Insider tip: Early mornings are calmest for riverside walks, and late afternoons glow golden!

Qu Yuan Temple (屈原祠)
History buffs, don’t miss this spot. It’s dedicated to poet Qu Yuan, and the vibe is both peaceful and profound. You’ll find awesome stone carvings and calligraphy. Address: Quzi Road, Miluo City. Open 8:00–17:30. Try to visit on weekdays to dodge crowds!

Rainy day? This spot’s for you! Dive into cool local history and learn tons about the area’s cultural roots. Address: Miluo Avenue, Miluo City. Open 9:00–17:00 (closed Mondays).

Daqiao Old Street (大桥老街)
Treat yourself to street snacks and snap some old-town aesthetic pics. This is where you’ll feel the city’s heart beat.

Getting Around:
City buses run frequently and are cheap—just 1–2 CNY a ride. Taxis are everywhere, and most rides within the city are under 20 CNY. Google Maps doesn’t work well, so try Baidu or Amap for directions!

Food to Try:
Don’t skip local Miluo rice dumplings (zongzi)! The best are sold near Daqiao Old Street at corner shops. Also, find street vendors and grab spicy stinky tofu—the funkiness is worth it.

Weather & Money:
Miluo’s best from late April to early June—think mild temps and riverside breezes. Bring cash because small shops rarely take cards.
