Dalhousie Obelisk

The Dahaus Monument is an obelisk near the river, near the Fulton Hotel, Queen's Square, near the Victoria Theatre, and near the Anderson Bridge and the statue of Laver. The obelisk was built in 1850 and has now been moved to its present position. There is a small plaque on which the history of the obelisk is written.

The monument commemorates Dahaus, the then Indian president, in support of free trade. Simple and single monument is erected beside the Singapore River, but it is very solemn and respectful to the predecessors.

This monument is located in the Marina Bay area, next to the Singapore River. It is probably not so noticeable because it is surrounded by famous net red attractions such as Merlion sculptures and Sands Hotels. It is actually worth watching carefully.

The Dahouche Monument is a memorial tower located by the Singapore River, in honor of the famous economic celebrity Duke Dahowen in Singapore. It is also close to the pier. If you come to the pier for sightseeing and eating, you can see it.

The Dahaushi Monument has a history of more than 150 years. It was built by the Governor of India at that time. It also reminded businessmen to safeguard the free trade system. It looks spectacular. There are many tourists taking pictures around it. It is worth recommending.
