🇯🇵Kyoto and Nara One-Day Tour🚗CityWalk Complete Guide👣 🌸Early in the morning, we set out from Osaka, driving towards Kyoto.🚗 The scenery along the way was picturesque, and after about an hour, we arrived at this ancient capital.🏞️ 🏯Our first stop was Kiyomizu-dera. This World Heritage Site and the matchmaking shrine of Japan made us feel the weight of history and the splendor of culture.🌼 Although there were no maple leaves to embellish the scene, it was still stunningly beautiful. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance; remember to bring cash for the amulets!🙏 🛍️Next, we visited Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. These streets resembled the ancient streets in our country, with a dazzling array of trinkets and delicacies.🍡 The old machiya houses retained their traditional charm. If you're a fan of Hayao Miyazaki, don't forget to check out the Acorn Republic on Ninenzaka!🌰 🏞️Ishibei-koji is a relatively lesser-known street, but it's filled with a mysterious and quiet sense of history.🛶 The surrounding private homes and high-end restaurants give off a sense of exclusivity and luxury. Although there's a no-photography sign at the entrance, this place is definitely a great spot for a citywalk!🚶‍♀️ 🌸Gion's Hanami-koji was the filming location for 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.🎬 Geisha teachers still train here to this day. During cherry blossom season, we even encountered a few geishas walking with paper umbrellas, which was incredibly lucky!🌸 ⛩️Yasaka Shrine is a great spot to visit without needing a ticket.🌈 We got our desired health amulets here, which made us so happy!🙆 🦉The Senbon Torii gates at Fushimi Inari Taisha are not to be missed.🌏 Stepping into this place is like entering another world. The 'Senbon Torii' path is really photogenic, and we had a blast taking pictures!📸 We heard there's a New Year's wish festival in January, and we must come back next time!🎉 🦌Finally, we arrived at Nara Park.🍪 We bought a pack of deer crackers and fed the adorable deer. Meeting a bowing deer was just too cute! However, be careful of the deer with 'Under Investigation' signs; they can be a bit temperamental!😅 🚗After the one-day tour, we chose to take a chartered car back to Osaka.💨 This mode of transportation is both convenient and comfortable, perfect for travel enthusiasts like us.👭 If you also want to go on a spontaneous trip, why not try chartering a car!🚘

Kyoto day trip without taking the wrong path Route: 1. Kiyomizu-dera 2. Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka 3. Yasaka Shrine 4. Gion Hanami Lane 5. Fushimi Inari Shrine The first four checkpoints are all together, follow my route and you won't take a detour, after visiting these four, just switch to the subway, bus, or take a taxi to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Although there are many people in Kyoto, Kyoto is so distinctive, it looks good no matter how you take pictures. Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka are also the most crowded places in Kyoto, it's better to get there around nine o'clock for photos, as there will be relatively fewer people, and it gets very crowded at noon and in the afternoon. There are many small alleys in Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka to explore, some alleys are less crowded and look great for photos. There are also many shops in the scenic area that rent kimonos and offer makeup services, and the costumes make the photos even better. You can spend a whole morning exploring Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, and then head to Yasaka Shrine, which I think is just average, right across the street is Gion Hanami Lane. Fushimi Inari Shrine requires a change of transportation, I suggest spending an afternoon there, because it's big and beautiful, great for taking pictures. Kyoto truly represents Japan today, very characteristic, I hope everyone can take photos to their satisfaction.

Some say 'Kyoto is in Japan, but the real Japan is in Kyoto.' There are many cherry blossoms in Japan, either in clusters or a particularly large one in a courtyard style. And the most famous among them is the century-old cherry tree at Sanneizaka in Kyoto. To shoot the blue hour cherry blossom scene, one must wake up early, get up at 4 AM and arrive by 5 AM. There are hardly any people shooting, most are around Yasaka Pagoda. The beauty is visible to the naked eye, live photos straight out. By 6 AM, it starts to get crowded, and by 6:30, it's practically overflowing. (Kyoto is really competitive! 😭 Many people might not even be up by 6:30!) - 📍Location: Ninenzaka Sannenzaka, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City, 2 Chome Kiyomizu 🎫Admission: Free Shooting Date: March 29, 2024 (Currently in full bloom, viewing period is 2 weeks) 🚗Transportation: Navigate to 'Myohoyenotei', take bus routes 202, 206, or 207 to Kiyomizu-michi Station ‼️Recommended Route: Ninenzaka Sannenzaka ➡️ Yasaka Pagoda ➡️ Kiyomizu-dera ➡️ Hanami-koji ➡️ Yasaka Shrine - ◽️Tips: ☑️ Ninenzaka Sannenzaka, Yasaka Tower Kiyomizu-dera, are unique street landscapes of Kyoto. The shops along the street and the visitors wearing kimonos make you feel as if you've traveled back to the shogunate era. ☑️ The sightseeing route I recommend is along the way, and if you want to see cherry blossoms, you can also go to Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kamo River, which are both in full bloom right now. ☑️Kyoto's cherry blossom season is very crowded, so it's advised to go out early and return early for a much better experience.

If you want to avoid the crowds, set off from Hoshino OMO5 Kyoto Gion at 7 am and follow the hotel guide for a walking tour of Kyoto's most secretive spots. 📷Hanami-Koji As an ancient flower street in Japan, it perfectly preserves the architectural style of the Edo period. The wooden machiya on both sides were places where Kabuki actors lived, learned, and performed. It's interesting to listen to the guide's stories that are not known to the public. 📷Yasui Konpiragu In the shrine, there's a huge ema-shaped rock with a large hole in the middle. According to the guide, crawling through the hole can dispel bad luck and bring good fortune, if you believe in it. 📷Hokan-ji Temple Yasaka Pagoda A landmark of Kyoto, visible from many places. The guide will take you to the best angle for photos, capturing the most beautiful Kyoto through winding paths. 📷Yasaka Shrine The most popular shrine in Kyoto, it's quite peaceful in the morning. This is the time to take photos and enjoy the shrine all to yourself. OMO5 is just a street away from Yasaka Shrine, and staying at the hotel allows you to join the tour for free every day. It's not far to walk to Kiyomizu Temple, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, and Kodai-ji Temple, which is especially suitable for a Kyoto city walk. Only by exploring in the early morning and evening can you discover the true essence of Kyoto.

Regardless for religious or leisure purpose, please prepare to wipe your eyes shine and enjoy this place with full of Japanese shrine! Our initial plan was to came here in the morning but we never keep up with the plan so ended up here in evening. However, it turns out to be more beautiful than what we expected! Psst! #2024wish This shrine is in the Gion district of Kyoto. It is a beautiful and historic Shinto shrine that is well worth a visit. It is located in close proximity to Maruyama Park. The shrine is famous for its beautiful vermilion gate, or torii, which marks the entrance to the shrine. Once inside, visitors can explore the beautiful grounds and various buildings, including the main hall and worship hall. The shrine is particularly popular during the Gion Festival, one of Japan's most famous festivals, which takes place in July. Overall, Yasaka Shrine is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Japanese culture, history, and architecture, and provides facilties for prayers, Omikuji and buying lucky charms. I want to come back here this year.
