Jianshui Zhu De's former residence is located at No. 21 Hongjing Street, Jianshui County (formerly Lin'an County), Yunnan Province. It is a three-six-ear courtyard-style bungalow. It is an ordinary southern Fujian residential building in the late Qing Dynasty. Under the phoenix tree, Zhu De's bust bronze statue stands tall, and his resolute eyes look far away. In 1914, Zhu De was ordered to Jianshui to lead the troops and bandits. After successfully completing the mission, he received an order in December 1915 to escort General Cai Yu back to Shanghai and leave Jianshui.
