Day 7 of the 2024 Spring Festival Tour - Self-driving following the Jianshui Little Train: Xianghuiqiao Station

It takes less than ten minutes to drive from Shuanglongqiao Station to Xianghuiqiao Station, and there is also a free parking lot. If it's full, you can just park by the roadside. The Jianshui Little Train stops at Xianghuiqiao Station at 9:25. After visiting Shuanglongqiao, you can arrive at Xianghuiqiao Station before the train stops, wait to see the train enter the station, and after the passengers disembark, you can freely board the train to visit and take photos. This is also a way to experience the train for those who haven't taken the little train. Then, after the train leaves and the crowd of passengers disperses, you can slowly tour the train station. Next, have lunch at the Xianghuiqiao Restaurant, take a rest, and enjoy the pastoral scenery from the glass room. ✅ Xianghuiqiao Station It is the most characteristic station on the Bilinping Railway. Built in 1932, it had an office building, a waiting hall, platforms, and a freight yard. There were three railway tracks inside the station in the past: one for the little train to stop at, one for trains to pass and let each other through, and another for the shunting, retaining, and unloading of goods. The station building of Xianghuiqiao Station ingeniously combines two architectural styles, embodying the characteristics of both Chinese and French architecture in a single-eave modern building, perfectly reflecting the value of science and art.
