Guantianpeici

There is a simple and solemn ancestral hall, Guan Zhongjie Gong Ancestral Hall, built to commemorate the national hero Guan Tianpei. It was originally three halls and two wing rooms, surrounded by an antique flower-walled courtyard. On the altar, the statue of Guan Tianpei in official uniform is lifelike, accompanied by a pair on both sides, holding swords and books. There is a long plaque of "Guan Zhongjie Gong Temple" hanging on the door of Xiangdian. On both sides of the hall, there are nanmu elegiac couplets written by the great calligrapher Zhou Muzhai by Lin Zexu. Guan Tianpei's tomb was built in Nanyao Jiu Village, Chengdong Township. Together with Guan Zhongjie Ancestral Hall, it has become an important patriotic education base in Huai'an City.
