Chadao Ancient City

The ancient city of Chadao is located in Chadao Village, Badaling Town, Yanqing District, Beijing. It was built in 1551 AD (Ming Jiajing 30 years), surrounded by mountains on three sides, and was guarded by stationed troops. Now the ancient city only retains a few sections of the city wall and the Xichengmen. There are still sites such as the station, the guard station, the Chenghuang Temple, the Guandi Temple and so on. Now the ancient city has been repaired many times and become a tourist attraction.

It is really close to the Badaling Great Wall. It is especially convenient to drive by car. There are free parking lots at the gates of the two cities. Follow the navigation and find it easier. I went in the late autumn. Most of the shops were closed due to the epidemic. There were not many tourists. It was very deserted, but it felt quite quiet. It is not convenient to eat. There are only one or two restaurants to choose from. The tomato and egg noodles eaten are more than 30 yuan a bowl, which is dark enough. The environment of the inn is very good, clean and very distinctive. In addition to the Badaling Great Wall and Safari Park on the side, there is nothing to play in the ancient city. There is an ancient city wall to go up and stroll around, and the ancient city is free. Generally speaking, there is no need to go there specially. If you go to the Badaling Great Wall, you can take a look.

The ancient city of the fork road is an important gateway to guard the Beijing division. It is not far from the Badaling Great Wall. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the road. There is a fork road autumn wind in one of the eight scenic spots in Yanqing. It is recommended to come to Badaling and come by the way.
