Just returned from Dandong. I really don’t recommend suffering through July to September
“Before the trip, I saw many posts advising against it, all saying that midsummer in Dandong is scorching and humid during the day, with the Broken Bridge and Hushan Great Wall crowded with tour groups, riverside boat rides overpriced, and the usual itinerary just a rushed visit to border landmarks, making it hard to feel the true character of this border city🌊.”
