"The restaurant is located on the 52nd floor so the city has a great view. If possible, ask for a table near the window. Live music at night, the food is delicious, courteous and helpful staff. Definitely worth its price. Be prepared, though, and this is not a cheap restaurant."

Daijin (bar name) is one of Nagoya's oldest Japanese bars and is always packed with Japanese male office workers. All you have to do is find a place to sit (or the waiter will take a seat), pick the dishes you want from the small table (or order sake, beer, juice...), and call the waiter after dinner. You will see him using an abacus or a classical Japanese calculator. If you are lucky, you will have a nice chat with the local Nagoya people sitting next to you!"
