The ride was pretty good, but I was shocked to find that buying tickets online was more expensive than buying them on-site! From now on, I'll just buy them on-site and never buy them online again. Please be aware of this.

Have a meal and watch a performance at the Traditional Arts Center. You can enjoy it even if you don't know Taiwanese, and try a tasting at the Kavalan Distillery. Also, in Jiaoxi, instead of going to the hot springs, buy bread at the attached place; it is like the Taiwanese equivalent of Sungsimdang.

Since I was going to the south anyway, buying a 50% discount ticket for the near future was a real bargain. A round-trip ticket would normally cost around NT$1700, but with TripPass it was less than NT$1200. However, it's a bit of a shame that I can't buy a high-speed rail ticket. Also, the tickets can only be picked up at designated stations, which is inconvenient since the distance is quite far. Furthermore, the Taiwan Pass website isn't as detailed as TripPass's descriptions; I couldn't find the designated stations on the official website until I found them on TripPass. It also lists many restrictions and a lot of text, requiring a lot of time to read. The only advantage is saving money.

There was a slight hiccup during check-in; the platform hadn't given the merchant the information. Thankfully, we boarded the boat on time! Great weather! Great scenery! And groups of dolphins swimming alongside us! Hot! But beautiful!

Everything was perfect. The pick-up location isn't well described. The other reviews are very helpful here. You can get the card after baggage claim in the public area. The MRT entrance is right by the back wall at the entrance, before the barrier.

It was very convenient. I got a little lost trying to find the MRT station, but I quickly found the counter that could help me. When I showed the staff member the QR code, they immediately handed me two coins. I was able to enter the ticket gate right away without having to buy a ticket again, which saved me a lot of time. I would like to use it again!
