Reviews: Yilan | Island Landing, Whale Watching & Guishan Island Cruise | Yilan Guishan Island Half-Day Tour | Free Gift with Activity
Guest User2026-07-15
Although we weren't lucky enough to see whales this time, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, taking meticulous care of each guest throughout the entire process and patiently explaining everything. While it was a bit of a disappointment, the operator offered a compensation plan: if we went whale watching again within a year, we only needed to pay the insurance premium, which showed their sincerity. The service was even more impressive than seeing the whales! I'll definitely come back next time, and I hope I'll be able to see whales next time! 🐳
Reviews: Jiaoxi Galax Star Hotel Lunch Buffet + 120-minute Rooftop SPA Open-air Hot Spring (No surcharge for weekend lunch. Weekday/weekend dinner +NT$300)
Guest User2026-04-16
The lunch buffet was mostly rice and starchy dishes, with no grilled beef, seafood (shrimp, fish, and onsen tamago), and no ice cream. It included a public onsen bath, but the changing rooms were cramped, and whether the two shower stalls were usable during peak hours was questionable. The massage buttons in the hot spring bath could be added to one side. I don't know about the accommodation, but I wouldn't recommend it for just eating and soaking in the hot spring, as there are many other interesting options nearby.
Reviews: Yilan Lanyang Museum + Animal Farm + Luodong Night Market Day Trip [Departure from Taipei]

Our tour guide, Gabe, was incredibly professional and helpful! At first, I was frantic trying to find the meeting point, but thankfully she kept in touch with me. I'm so grateful! Along the way, she proactively introduced the sights and attractions, providing a wealth of information. She treated us with great hospitality at every stop! Finally, when we returned to Taipei, she even dropped off the other four tourists from out of town in Ximending near their hotel – she was such a considerate guide!
Reviews: Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park Forest Bath Ticket
Guest User2026-06-01
I bought a nude bath voucher for the Forest Bath at Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park on this platform, and the experience was truly excellent value! It was only NT$188 per voucher, and best of all, there was no extra charge on holidays, which is incredibly affordable for working professionals. After ordering, you could simply show your mobile QR code for quick entry on the day of your visit – a convenient and eco-friendly process. The Forest Bath boasts a tranquil and lush Japanese garden setting, and the baths are clean and comfortable, allowing for complete relaxation. Highly recommended for its high cost-performance ratio!
Reviews: Yilan | Dongshan River Ecological Park | Electric boat and hydrobiking experience

Purchased the day before, upon entering the park, turn left to find a counter to assist with arrangements. We were then directed to the restaurant counter, where staff arranged for us to first take a jet ski. We had to cross a bridge to the boarding point ourselves; the ride was about 20 minutes, with beautiful river views and passing through caves. Afterwards, we walked back to the restaurant, where an instructor gave a briefing on how to operate the jet skis. Important items were placed in the pockets of our life jackets, and other items were placed on the shelves in the restaurant. The ride lasted 45 minutes. The driving area wasn't large, but overall it was a great experience; you generally wouldn't get your feet wet. Besides this activity, there were no other activities available in the park. The turtle-shaped ice cream bars were very cute and had many flavors to choose from.
