I was dissatisfied with the booking service for this trip. Because I booked a tour through Ctrip in Guangzhou, all inquiries had to be handled by the order specialist in Shanghai, who would then contact the Guangzhou office before replying. This resulted in two problems: firstly, the process was lengthy; secondly, the visa requirements in Shanghai and Guangzhou differed, leading to sometimes ambiguous responses, which caused a long and complicated visa application process. Overall, the trip was acceptable and largely within expectations.

The tour guide was terrible, but the scenery at Sanqingshan was very nice. I suggest including a visit to an ancient village in your itinerary in Wuyuan, otherwise you'll practically miss out on the entire trip.

My 6-day trip to Lijiang left me with wonderful memories. The snow-capped mountains, ancient towns, blue skies, white clouds, and the simple, honest ethnic minority customs all created beautiful memories. Ctrip's service was also very attentive. I received a text message the day before departure informing me of the Lijiang weather forecast for the day of my trip. The airport pickup was prompt, and the tour guide and driver provided warm and professional service. What impressed me most was taking the free shuttle bus to Shuhe Ancient Town. Because the bus was small and crowded, some people couldn't get a seat. Ctrip's driver didn't just pick up those who had a seat and leave, ignoring those who hadn't. Instead, he rented several more vehicles to pick up the remaining passengers before setting off. I was truly touched. This trip not only allowed me to experience the beauty of Lijiang but also deeply appreciated Ctrip's thoughtful service. I think I will choose Ctrip again next time.
