I would highly recommend my tour guide zhu zhu from gogoday! It is a well planned tour with lots of things to visit and eat! She gave us many good recommendations too! Due to my last min online booking, the system didn’t capture my record. On the actual day, Zhu zhu make great efforts to call her company and verify my booking. Although they still need wait for Trip.com to reply, she made decision to allow me to follow her tour while waiting for reply. She puts visitor experience as her own! I really appreciate her help!

Our guide, Qiu Lei, provided detailed explanations, recommended local delicacies, and led us through the charming and auspicious Nyoi-ji Temple (Frog Shrine) in Fukuoka 🐸, the Beppu Sea Hell Hot Spring and the Kamado Hell Hot Spring (above 100 degrees Celsius) in Oita Prefecture ♨, where we experienced a foot bath, visited the shimmering Kinrin Lake, and the Yufuin Garden filled with koi carp and souvenir shops. It was a truly memorable and worthwhile trip.

The guides generally work very hard. They strive to provide a wealth of information, including history, origins, and folklore. Participants also learn a little about the destinations beforehand, making for an even better trip. However, there is something else that deserves a 5-star rating beyond just what the guides do. Their genuine desire for the travelers to have a good time is evident in their small actions. Personally, on other trips, there were guides who wouldn't tell us what to do during free time unless we asked first, but this time, Yoon-chan took such good care of us. Yoon-chan told us everything about every place we visited—from what was good to what wasn't—and if we asked further, they gave us accurate answers based on what they knew. They explained what to eat, see, and photo spots during free time, and even uploaded Google Maps links to the group chat. But it wouldn't be 5 stars if it ended there. Yoon-chan asked each traveler individually about their remaining itinerary, calculated travel times, and recommended great places; it was like they weren't just a guide, but a friend who had lived in Japan for about 10 years. Lastly, there is one more thing, but I won't mention it because they asked me not to. Yoon-chan is someone I would love to meet on other trips as well. Since the guide recommended it, I hope many foreigners will look for Yoon-chan as well.

It's a fairly long day trip, but it allows you to visit many spots. The downside is the unpredictable weather, which often necessitates schedule changes and even the cancellation of some attractions due to bad weather. However, the staff and guides handled unexpected situations quite well, choosing suitable locations and even providing souvenirs. Unfortunately, during the summer, bad weather can be problematic, preventing us from climbing the mountain as planned. This attraction is a highlight, so careful consideration and selection of the travel date are essential. Always check the weather forecast beforehand. The tour service was excellent, punctual, and the tour participants were very responsible.

I highly recommend everyone try this JR Pass, as it is extremely convenient and worth it, especially for solo travellers. It can help you save a lot on transportation costs. However, make sure to check your itinerary carefully, as this JR Pass does not cover every attraction or area, and some places may require local trains instead.

It completely changed my experience with day tours! 💯✨ I've been on many day tours before, but most were rushed and rote, but this time with Ah Chun's group was a completely different experience! I absolutely have to write a review to praise him! 🙌🔥 As a Hong Kong tour leader, Ah Chun was incredibly dedicated and professional. The itinerary was meticulously planned, keeping everything entertaining and relaxed 🥳. He was also very efficient, always explaining the arrangements and important notes in advance ⏱️, ensuring we were always prepared and making the entire trip smooth and reassuring 👏! What touched me most was his genuine hospitality ❤️. He was incredibly respectful and caring towards the elderly 👵👴, and extremely patient and attentive to the children 👧👦. Everyone in the group, from the oldest to the youngest, received impeccable care from him. And Ah Chun is incredibly attentive, always proactively helping us find the best angles for photos 📸✨, every single one is post-ready! This experience truly made me feel that he genuinely cares about serving everyone, not just doing a job 👍. Highly recommended!
