I was quite satisfied with the trip from booking to completion. The only downside was the massive flight delays and cancellations at Beijing Capital International Airport on the return trip. My 8 PM flight was rebooked to 5 PM, and I didn't arrive in Shanghai until 6 AM the next morning – it was exhausting! Of course, this wasn't the fault of Ctrip or the travel agency. Our tour guide, Zhu Lin, truly lived up to his reputation; he was excellent in every way, and all the tourists were very satisfied. The only regret was the heavy fog on the day we climbed the Great Wall, so we didn't get to see the majestic pass. Also, the pollution in Beijing is just too severe.★

The price-performance ratio was really high. Although the food wasn't very diverse, mostly basic group meals, you had to eat out if you wanted something better. The hotel itself was decent, but it was a bit far from the city center, about an hour's drive away. It's worth mentioning that I've never met such a wonderful local guide before. Her name is Yoon Young-hee, she's a native Korean and an incredibly lovely tour guide. I hope to meet her again next time I go. Hehe.Trip.com picks
