The price was decent, but I didn't receive the promised discount card; the tour guide said they were all gone. The so-called DFS duty-free shop coupons exclusively for Ctrip were also from 2012 and had long expired—I really don't know what happened. The hotel location was good, but the conditions were a bit poor; the soundproofing was terrible, making it quite noisy.

Overall, we were very satisfied. The food and accommodation were good, and the tour guide was very professional. On the day we went to Alishan, the winding mountain roads were very easy to get carsick on, so if you're prone to motion sickness, it's best to prepare some medication. There's a small pharmacy across from the hotel where you can buy it. On Alishan, be sure to take lots of photos; the sky is incredibly blue, and the printed photos have amazing colors. The Round-the-Island Star train is worth taking, but the air conditioning is extremely cold, so remember to bring a slightly thicker jacket. The food on the train was delicious, and our family had a great time.
