Reviews: Tbilisi - Mtskheta Tour: History, Views, Wine & Boat Ride

This was a wonderful tour that made the scenery of Mtskheta even more impressive by providing a historical context. Our guide, Tako, was very charming and kind. His English was clear and easy to understand, and his explanations were detailed yet not difficult to comprehend, making them very accessible. The tour didn't simply visit churches and ruins; he carefully explained St. Nino, the Christianization of Georgia, the role Mtskheta played, and the history and cultural background of Georgia as a whole. This connected the actual places and scenery with history. While simply admiring the beautiful architecture and scenery is enjoyable, understanding the background made the trip much more multifaceted. Along the way, we enjoyed delicious honey and sampled various spices and churchkhela, experiencing not only history but also Georgian food culture. The scenery was magnificent, making it a very fulfilling day filled with both knowledge and experience. And what's most surprising is the price. You might worry, "Is it really okay to be this cheap?", but it is! (laughs) If you're visiting Mtskheta, I highly recommend taking this tour. I highly recommend it!

10/10 we went to a bunch of fun spots and got a good acclimation to the city. Zuka and Fantástico were fun and enjoyable. The wine and waterfall were highlights.
