What a pleasant and smooth day! 🌞 The weather was amazing! Autumn in Takachiho Gorge is beautiful. Luckily, I didn't become an Aso refugee! 😂 I saw Mount Aso up close, it was quite breathtaking! Our guide, Daisy Wu Xia, was super nice – very professional service, a well-planned itinerary, and very helpful. She even shared local food and shopping tips with us… Looking forward to seeing you again!

Thank you to our local guide in Fukuoka, Ishihara, for the wonderful day with us, speaking three languages. The itinerary was packed, though I got a bit dizzy on the bus. Just a small suggestion: it would be better to choose a bus with USB ports, since we take a lot of photos, which drains the battery quickly, and most people want a relaxing trip. 😊

The review is late because the trip was so rushed these past few days. I'm so glad I chose this travel plan and the team. First of all, Takachiho Gorge is a natural landscape that really appeals to me. However, after doing my research beforehand, I found that Takachiho Gorge is quite far from both Miyazaki and Fukuoka/Kumamoto. So, I decided to go on a day trip to save time and effort while covering almost all the places I wanted to visit. My initial concern was that the Kamishimi Kumanozha Shrine wasn't included in this package, which made choosing a day trip a bit difficult. But to my surprise, because Mount Aso was closed, we ended up visiting the shrine instead, which was a wonderful surprise! Therefore, I really want to thank the travel agency staff, including the hardworking driver and tour guide Ms. Kong. They deserve a huge thumbs up, especially Ms. Kong Yan, who was incredibly dedicated and hardworking. She was knowledgeable, provided rich explanations, and answered all our questions. She treated every member of the group with care, was very polite and well-mannered, thoughtfully took photos for everyone, and didn't miss a single detail of the itinerary. She personally led us through every attraction from beginning to end, climbing up and down stairs, which was quite tiring. Honestly, this is the first time I've seen a tour guide accompany us like this throughout the entire trip. It shows how responsible, caring, capable, and competent she is. She is truly excellent and highly competent in her job, a senior tour guide worthy of respect, and a beautiful fellow townsman who brings honor to my hometown of Dalian. If I have the opportunity to take a day trip through Kyushu in the future, I will definitely choose her again! In short, this was an unforgettable and wonderful trip. While enjoying the scenery, I learned something new and broadened my horizons, leaving me feeling refreshed and satisfied!

The meeting point was conveniently located inside Kumamoto JR Station. The tour guide was very enthusiastic, patient, and detailed in introducing local specialties and souvenirs. The entire itinerary was well-organized, with ample time for sightseeing, taking photos, and shopping. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for tourists unfamiliar with public transportation.

This trip to Mount Aso was an excellent experience, and I'm so grateful to our tour guide for his professional and attentive guidance throughout! He had a thorough understanding of Mount Aso's volcanic history, the Five Peaks landscape, crater scenery, and local customs, providing vivid and detailed explanations packed with valuable information. The itinerary was well-planned, with a relaxed pace that wasn't rushed. He patiently cared for each member of the group, promptly reminding us of safety precautions and important points for sightseeing. He meticulously planned the route, leading us to deeply appreciate the grandeur of the active volcano and the natural beauty of the grasslands. Despite the fact that the boats were being serviced at Takachico Gorge and the crater was closed due to a helicopter accident, the tour was still great. I was impressed they called me to tell me about the cancellation of the boat trip and offered me a refund for that portion even before my trip started. When they found out the crater was closed, they also communicated it and offered a full refund if I didn’t want to take the trip anymore. I think it’s hard to come by companies these days that are so pro-active and handle issues so promptly. Yang Meng our guide was awesome, she contacted us, created a group chat and shared a lot of information about Mount Aso and Takachico Gorge. The Kusasenri area is very worth going to even if the Crater is closed. Takachico was beautiful and got to eat Nagashi somen out of bamboo shoots and water from the gorge. Cool experience. Yang Meng was so organized and told us beforehand how to make the best out of each part of the itinerary Highly recommend
