A must visit when you are in Fukuoka. A marvellous piece of architecture, in triangular cross-section, affording excellent views all around from 123m height !! The view on the deck is amazing.I went in the morning and the view is so beautiful.On the deck u have love lock and Fukuoka coin where you can print your name and date you have visited on it. The tickets were pretty cheap (800 yen) so there is no reason not to visit .

The views from the observation deck at 123 meters high (403 feet) are spectacular! And there are instagrammable spots at the 116 meter floor including a heart-shaped arch (they even provide you with a perch for your phone about 15 feet away for the perfect selfie). Definitely 5 stars for the views. However, there are only two elevators available, and I wish they were both larger and faster because the queue to get up took at least 20 minutes. #GiveThanks

#fukuokatrip It wasn’t too crowded despite being a Saturday. Elevator to ascend was rather fast but comfortable. The view from atop is spectacular, especially the view of the sea. It’s a great experience even for children. Easy access via direct bus from Hakata station -Visited on a Saturday and it was not that crowded. -No toilets in the observatory so please use the one at the ground floor before entering. -Lift available to bring you to the top floor. However access to the restaurant is only by stairs. -Nice view in the observatory and some nice interactive activities -You can get a free mini photo

Fukuoka tower is the 3rd tallest sightseeing building in Japan.
