I used this service for the following routes: Taipei-Tainan, Tainan-Chiayi, Chiayi-Tainan, and Tainan-Taipei. I was able to book online the first time, but after that I couldn't book online and had to book at the counter. Please be careful! I have purchased this airport express train ticket from Taiyuan airport to taipei main station many times. It is seamlessly redemn and do safe keep the same token when you exit taipei main station. Always take the purple line car which is mean for express service. It just takes 36 min only
