Had a super fun day with a group of 10 people. The van was spacious and comfortable, and at the locations, you were given plenty of time to look around on your own. So the guide doesn't hold your hand, and you aren't constantly with the group. I really liked this because you decide for yourself where and how long you look or stay at a place. Of course, there was a time set by the guide to be back at the van for the next stop 😎★

The best option for visiting Mount Koya is a small day tour. Public transportation to Mount Koya involves many transfers and takes a long time, so this small group tour was very comfortable! There were 5 of us on this trip, and our guide, Hanazawa, spoke Chinese, Japanese, and English, so communication was seamless throughout the tour. Hanazawa introduced us to various natural, historical, and cultural aspects of Mount Koya and even took us to sample local cuisine! Mount Koya is definitely worth a visit—a tranquil journey not to be missed.
