We were going to drive ourselves, I'm so glad we didn't. I felt very safe with our driver's expertise, I wouldn't have if we did it on our own! The driver's knowledge was also excellent, learnt a lot.

We had an amazing experience with the 48-hour Hop-On Hop-Off Bus and Mount Wellington package. Both drivers were friendly, skilled and informative. Although I did not get the name of our Hop-On Hop-Off driver, they gave us helpful ideas on places to visit, eat and buy souvenirs. The tour was a great way to see Hobart before planning the rest of our trip. We sat on the upper deck, enjoyed the views and took photos. We also stopped at Cascade Brewery for lunch before continuing around the city. We were impressed by how well the drivers handled the bus on the narrow roads, very skillful. A special thanks to Tony, our Mount Wellington driver, who safely manoeuvred the bus even with cars coming from the opposite direction. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable and helped take family photos too. His chocolate recommendation was superb! Despite the cold and wind, the weather was sunny and the experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this tour.
